Highlights
- Lalla Takerkoust - Our excursion begins on the road that leads to the Lalla Takerkoust reservoir, which has beautiful views from which to have a tea.
- Moulay Brahim - Then we pass through the Kik plateau and arrive at this town that is a place of pilgrimage for some Moroccans.
- Asni - We are getting closer to the Atlas Mountains and entering the beautiful Asni Valley, full of Berber villages, and whose winding road will lead to Imlil, the base of Toubkal, the highest mountain in Morocco.
- Oukaimeden - Oukaïmeden is the name of the second valley, whose snowy port in winter is home to a ski resort with more and more fans.
- Ourika Valley - The most famous and most visited valley of the three, it is packed with villages and places to eat on the banks of the river that winds along its base. It houses some beautiful waterfalls to climb on a somewhat steep walk for an hour (the first) that can be done with the help of a local guide. After knowing this valley we return to Marrakech.
