To ensure everything goes smoothly, here’s some important information for your adventure: Arrival Tips: • Be Early: Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time. This extra time is vital for parking and making your way down to the beach. Keep in mind, late arrivals might miss the tour as we start promptly to ensure a great experience for all participants. Accessing Cala Portixol: • Parking Challenges: Be aware that parking can be difficult, especially during peak times, and beach access may be closed if no parking is left. • Recommendation for Early Arrival: To make parking as easy as possible, we suggest arriving before 09:00, even if your tour is later in the day. • Taxi Option: For a stress-free alternative, consider taking a taxi from Javea center (about €15). • Creu de Portixol & Carrer Illa: A convenient alternative is to park near Creu de Portixol or on Carrer Illa, followed by a brief, shaded 10-minute hike to the beach. • Private Parking on Virginia’s Land: Potentially available for €10. Let the guard know you’re parking there. • Mention Your Kayak Reservation: Sometimes, saying you have a kayak reservation with Siesta Advisor can help gain beach access. • Drop-off Approach: Telling the guards, you’re dropping off might increase chances of entry. Nice trip to get acquainted with sea kayaking. - There is no fixed spot on the beach, so we had to wait a while for someone from the company. They had some delays, but that was more than made up for later by very patiently explaining everything and ensuring we had a nice trip. The English language was very good, so communication went well. We got what we booked. Recommended!

Mandatory activity - Good morning. The truth is that it was a wonderful experience, for all audiences where you can have a very pleasant time due to the wonderful surroundings and good company. Although it is not the first time I have taken a kayak excursion, being able to do it in such a different space was definitely worth it. Rowing through that crystalline water, visiting the caves and their luminosity, the sunset. The team of monitors led by Henrick and also made up of Harry and Beni were always attentive, close, friendly and willing to make sure everything went well. Congratulations. If you want to spend a different day at Playa de la Granadella, I definitely encourage you to book a kayak and snorkel session.

Wonderful excursion with top guides! - Niels and Thomas are very responsible and very friendly and pleasant supervisors. Niels talked about the sea and the beach. He made the excursion complete. Beautiful tour...highly recommended! Tip for bookers: keep in mind that you have to walk for half an hour. The route is closed when the beach becomes busy. It's definitely worth it!

Great experience - A nice little excursion with family and friends. The cave isn't crazy but the little canoe trip was cool and we saw some pretty views. Esteban and Matheo are 2 great guides, very friendly and attentive.

Terrible - Should’ve been canceled because of bad waves. Was a full 40 min workout to get to the cave. Have gone kayaking many times before but had inexperienced friends with me. Who had a hard time balancing the kayak in the waves and with the exhaustion. My friend tipped over on the way back, I turned the boat back around and was waiting for her to calm down before helping her back up (she panicked initially and began trying to swim down). After a couple of minutes one of the guides came and instead of helping them calmly get back up he got mad when they took their time and told them to hurry up (and kinda just dragged them up and left). The way back was like a race we could not even enjoy the scenery no stop just hurrying up to get rid of us. Been too loads of trips like this and wanted to show my friends of fun it was and did not appreciate the guide making my friend insecure about being inexperienced. The description says in the calm Mediterranean Sea. I know they can’t control the sea but they could have cancelled or told us that morning the situation and given us a choice to cancel or not.
