Embark on a journey to a conservation and permaculture initiative where efforts are focused on rejuvenating the local economy and safeguarding this 300-acre land for future generations. We are situated next to the renowned Guanacaste conservation area, and our project, known as Finca Los Wilas, serves as a natural passageway ensuring the safe movement of wildlife and preservation of the region. Located closest to La Cruz region and North Pacific beaches of Costa Rica, this is the nearest rainforest you can visit. On a brief journey, you’ll observe the awe-inspiring transition from a tropical dry forest to a rainforest, with breathtaking views of volcanoes.
Upon arrival, you’ll be treated to a forest walk where our guide will explain the forest ecology, flora, fauna, medicinal plants, regenerative development strategies, conservation efforts, and more. Additionally, if available, you’ll have the opportunity to taste the organic fruits cultivated at the project and explore a wide array of products we offer at Finca Los Wilas.
Your visit contributes directly to the preservation of the rainforest.
