Join us for an evening of exceptional local cuisine and drinks! As twilight descends, we will navigate through the labyrinth of alleys and backroads to uncover a hidden treasure - a cocktail bar prized for its award-winning mixologists and original drink concoctions. Here, we will sample local nibbles accompanied by a mouthwatering cocktail of your selection.
As nighttime engulfs the city, we’ll meander through narrow lanes, offering breathtaking vistas of Japan’s illustrious old capital. Next on the itinerary is a century-old family residence converted into a restaurant. We will be regaled by the host’s tales and savour Kyoto’s specialty dishes and Sake. He serves his renowned “appetizer surprise box” and two minor course plates where mochi features in unconventional manners.
Our journey concludes with a whisky tasting session in Pontocho’s vibrant entertainment district (alternative drinks will also be provided). The experience is complemented with a selection of your favourite sweets or bar-snacks, wrapping up the tour with a leisurely walk through this animated nightlife quarter.
