Murals of Kyiv - A fascinating walk through the empty city with a wonderful guide Olga. Although the murals are not very fresh, many have already lost the brightness of their colors, but I liked to stroll off the beaten track. We saw a lot of hidden sights, courtyards and the guide told interesting facts. The highlight of this unusual tour is the metro gallery of murals. Highly recommend

Don't miss this! - Kate was a fabulous guide--the wonderful murals turned into a backdrop for an illuminating conversation about life, art and the soul of a city. My very best day in Kyiv so far!

Great discovery of Kiev' Street art - Really enjoyed my tour with Katrin to discover the murals in Kiev. She is very knowledgeable about all of them and we shared our knowledge of painters in our respective countries. She also showed me stuff I would not have guessed they were there or I would not have understood them. Really worth it!

AMAZING, WELL WORTH IT, DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT ORGANISING THIS EXPERIENCE - Kate was an amazing guide. She has a great grasp of history and i was blown away. We had a walk around Kiev 'off the beaten track' AND my only regret is that i did not have more time. I will definitely book Kate again and i cannot recommend her services enough. Thank you Kate

Really interesting - Great tour, this is exactly what you can not find yourself. My friend and I were delighted. Our guide showed us the secret corners of Kiev, we used the Kiev subway, the mural in the subway is special and it is really worth getting there. Murals in the center are not very new, but nevertheless each has its own history.

Unique look into modern Kiev - Fantastic tour! Kate was our guide and was very friendly, full of information (she really does her research!) and good company. Kiev has some truly fantastic street art, and much of it in the form of huge murals. It was great to look around Kiev with an eye on the recent and contemporary. The street art itself gave a sense of Kiev’s zeitgeist and energy, making it feel alive and more comprehensible to an outsider. As well as this, a lot of the street art makes allusion to Ukraine and Kiev’s politics, history and culture, and so is a great way to also learn about these things but very much from the perspective of modern Ukraine. Tour itself was well designed, the routes between stops themselves were in interesting areas and streets, and even though it was 3hrs packed full of information the time flew by as we had a lot of fun and the whole thing was just very interesting. In between walking from mural to mural Kate was happy to point out architectural and historical points of interest as well, and to answer general questions we had about the city. Cool, quirky, and at times genuinely awe inspiring! Highly recommended

Throw your traditional Kiev guidebook out the window and do this tour - you will not regret it! - I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in or with the potential to be interested in street art. Street art is a unique way to visit Kiev, enabling you to see parts of the city which you otherwise would never think to visit. Kate is a terrific guide, extremely friendly, patient (I wanted to take A LOT of pictures) and informative. She had done her research in advance and took me to see some of the newest pieces around the city as well as the more well known stuff which you can find online. All of these works will introduce you to some of the most fantastic and fascinating elements of Ukrainian culture; 'the street art boom', as Kate puts it, arrived in the city after the 2014 revolution. It promotes peace, love and unity in the most creative and imaginative ways, showing visitors just how much Kiev and Ukrainian society has on offer. Every mural has a story behind it and various ways to be interpreted - Kate is the perfect person to learn all of this through. It is also really cool to listen to Kate speak about her experiences living in Kiev as a Ukrainian native. I really can't believe I'm the first review... This is the most authentic tour in a most authentic city. 10/10 would recommend. Throw your traditional Kiev guidebook out the window and do this tour. You Will Not Regret It :-)
