The legendary fetish priest of the Asantes called Okomfo Anokye planted a sword on the ground and told the Asantes that he is not planting the sword to throw a challenge to any other person, but to signify the unity among the Asantes. Since then nobody has been able to uproot the sword from the ground. He planted the sword in 1695 and nobody has been able to pull it including the late former heavyweight boxer Muhammad Ali.
