Lessebo handpappersbruk has a history dating back to the 17th century. Originally an iron works, this establishment transitioned into a paper mill post 1648. This site carries numerous tales of human fate that you’ll hear about during your visit. The guided tour usually lasts about 45-60 minutes, depending on the group size, and features a short film demonstrating the production process. The factory’s shop, offering second quality goods, is open for shopping before or after the tour.
