Join in a ~three-hour culinary journey at Paper Tiger Eatery, recognized for its genuine Khmer food, and master the techniques of making popular Khmer dishes such as Amok, Chicken Curry, and Beef Loc Lac. Paper Tiger, the first cooking school in Siem Reap to serve international tourists since 1999, provides a distinct gastronomic experience. The class begins with a trip to a historical market where you’ll explore the fresh vegetables and meats utilized in the class. Once back in the eatery, a friendly, proficient chef will walk you through the steps of creating your selected Khmer meals. Great cooking class in Siem Riep, Cambodia - We have just been to Siem Reap, Cambodia. We wanted to learn how to cook some of the local dishes and chose to do the cooking class at Paper Tiger in Pub Street.
What a great experience! Channy was our teacher and she helped us make some of the local dishes, including a chicken curry and fish amok. She was delightful, we enjoyed it very much and we got to eat the delicious food we had made with a drink afterwards.
Would highly recommend.

Fantastic tasting food and a great way to spend an afternoon in Siem Reap! - This cooking course is a great way to spend a relaxing afternoon in Siem Reap. Sinuon is very friendly and does a great job of imparting her knowledge and skills in the kitchen. The price is very reasonable and you get to choose on of two starters (spring rolls or mango salad), one of three mains (chicken/fish curry, amok, or loklak) and fried bananas with a passion fruit sauce. The dishes are restaurant quality and the experience of preparing them and cooking them is therapeutic. This is a great choice for an afternoon in Siem Reap!

Great moment of traditional khmer dishes for cheap ! - We went to the market first to see many products of cambodia culture, and after we started to cook our meals. Our teacher, Sopheap, was wonderful and very warm. She is an expert and she can transmit her passion of kitchen with heart. In addition, it is very cheap for the lot of dishes you can prepare and eat.
I recommended a lot this activity.

Amazing cooking class with Sinuon - Amazing experience and would recommend this class. Sinuon was such a great teacher - she initially took us round the market, then showed us how to make delicious Cambodian dishes!

Brilliant cooking class with Sinuon. - Sinuon was a brilliant teacher. She gave us a tour of the market first then guided us through prepping and cooking our chosen dishes - 3 courses each! Finally, we sat downstairs in the restaurant to enjoy our dishes. We had a fantastic time and look forward to trying the recipes out again at home. Thank you Sinuon!

Paper tiger cooking class review - The cooking class was amazing. Sinuon
the teacher was very patient with us, taught us how to make the food and helped us for what we needed. It’s was an amazing experience, cooking and getting to know the Cambodian kitchen. We had so much fun and I really recommend it to tourists!
