Great, ‘must do’ tour in rural Cambodia. - Wonderful tour into the country side close to Siem Reap. An in depth insight into the lives of Cambodians outside of the city. Bunsom took the time to explain in great detail about country life and how the development of agriculture has helped improve the economic outlook for Cambodia. We stopped at several places to learn about various crops and endeavors in the rural areas - really very informative. The last stop of the tour was at the edge of a Lotus farm where we were provided with some authentic Cambodian food looking over thousands of Lotus plants and flowers while witnessing a glorious sunset.
We highly recommend this tour. One thing we should mention is that the jeep we traveled in was very basic - no frills, getting in and out of the jeep took a couple of try’s to get it down - but we did and it seemed to add a bit of authenticity to the trip. Take this tour it will give you an insight to real Cambodia.

Unforgettable Adventure with Mr. Chan Sorphear in Siem Reap - We had an absolutely amazing time on the jeep tour with Tours by Jeeps! From start to finish, the experience was filled with fun and learning. Our incredible tour guide, Mr. Chan Sorphear, made the trip unforgettable with his extensive knowledge and friendly demeanor.
The itinerary was perfectly planned. We began by exploring the charming countryside of Siem Reap, where we had the chance to visit a local village and meet some of the residents. This was a unique opportunity to see day-to-day Cambodian life up close. The scenic rice fields and farms were breathtaking, and Mr. Sorphear provided fascinating insights into the agricultural practices of the region.
One of the highlights was visiting a peaceful Buddhist temple. It was a serene and enlightening experience, enriched by our guide's detailed explanations of the temple's history and significance.
This jeep tour took us on trails we never would have discovered on our own, making it a genuine adventure. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the authentic culture and natural beauty of Siem Reap. Thank you, Mr. Chan Sorphear, for an unforgettable journey!

Outside city life - Tour guide and driver were very professional and sweet. We got to see life outside the city. You couldn’t see the sunset but it was still a relaxing and fun time. We had beer at the end of the tour.

Fun Jeep Tour - I bought a join in tour and received a private one instead, which was what I really wanted originally but cost more.
So I was really happy
The jeep was so cool, I had a fun time and my tour guide Bunsom was such an awesome person, he told me stories and was such a friendly person to be around with and he takes great photos.
The driver (forgot his name) was so nice too.
We went to rice field, a farm, mushroom farm (which was an eye opener and learning front), rice wine place.. which you can try and lastly watch the sunset it this really lovely place with a cold beer.
Definitely try this tour, you won’t regret it.
Tip: don’t wear white as it’ll get dirty, siem reap roads can get pretty dusty, and the jeep is of course open.

Sunset jeep tour siem reap - We took the tour in a historic US Army jeep. They drove us around the countryside, stopping at several family run farms. Including rice wine and mushrooms. That gave us inside in local life. We also stopped at a Buddhists Temple, where Bonsum demonstrated his knowledge of the relegion . Watson the driver and Bunsom the guide were both professional knowledgeable and easy to be with. They gave us an inside look at Cambodian life .
We recommend this tour. Since the jeep is open, wear glasses, it is very dusty.

Countryside Jeep Tour - We took the countryside Jeep tour and it was a great way to see how the Cambodian people people live and work in their daily lives. The tour guide and driver where excellent. We traveled in authentic military jeeps. Ok, they are not air-conditioned but breezy and still comfortable. During the dry season the back roads can be a little dusty but the driver adjusted his speed to keep the dust to a minimum. Don't let this scare you off from the jeep ride. I only mention it as a side note. You will not be covered in dust!!! We made several stops along the way to experience the life of farmers, mushroom growers and a few homes. To me, this is the way you visit a country. Not just the city streets and markets but the countryside seeing peoples live there everyday lives. This was another highlight of my Siem Reap exploration and visit. We were picked up at 2:30pm in the afternoon and returned to our hotel around 8pm. Of course, this also included the sunset boat tour of the floating villages which I HIGHLY recommend!
