Highlights

Krabi Horse Riding - Take an hour’s guided ride along the deserted and windswept Ao Nam Mao Beach with beautiful views across the islands. The horses can go into the water.

Those on the 2 hour ride will then head inland into the countryside, passing small villages and plantations.

Whether you are an experienced horse rider or a first timer, this is a great experience. Just riding along the beach kicking up the surf is just one of those unforgettable experiences.

The horses are very well looked after and the staff are experienced, friendly and safety conscious. The horses are all trained by the owner, they also breed the horses and have a few young horses just starting training.

The horse riding trip includes a pick up from your hotel. If you are staying in Klong Muang or Tubkaek there is a small charge of 200 THB per person.

Itinerary:

1-hour ride
• 08:30 - 09:00: Hotel pickup in Krabi
• 09:00 - 10:00: Horse riding at Ao Nam Mao Beach
• 10:00 - 10:30: Transfer back to your hotel

2-hour ride
• 08:30 - 09:00: Hotel pickup in Krabi
• 09:00 - 10:00: Start ride from Ao Nam Mao to visit a fisherman village
• 10:00 - 11:00: Enjoy riding at Ao Nam Mao Beach
• 11:00 - 11:15: Transfer back to your hotel

Must do experience! - Booked onto the sunset ride and BBQ a few weeks ago and it exceeded expectations in every way. The staff are so friendly, and the horses are well cared for. Highly recommend the BBQ too (chicken, shrimp, octopus, pork, fish, and THE BEST pad Thai I've had so far). Mena and the team went above and beyond to deliver a truly unforgettable experience.

It’s a nice experience to ride on the beach - You go all along Ao Nam Beach with the horses. The horses are super brave and sweet (also if you have no experience). If you have more experience, you can also canter. If you don’t want, the crew is there to take care of you and the horse. The guides are really friendly and creative to make nice photos.

Fantastic riding in a stunning location - A fantastic gem! Stunning setting, lovely people and perfect riding! My daughter and I rode just the two of us with one guide. The stables are very near to the beach and horses very well kept. A very professional set-up and visitors are seperated into riding ability. We galloped along a deserted beach, rode into the countryside which was stunning and back along the beach to the water. A real must and highlight of the trip.

Friendly team, pleasant atmosphere. - Sure, here is the English translation of your review: "I had a very pleasant time on the horseback riding tour in Krabi. Right from the stable, I was warmly welcomed and the team took a genuine interest in my riding experience to tailor the tour perfectly for me. The group was pleasantly small, which made the experience very personal and enjoyable. The guides were very attentive and continually made sure that we were all doing well. It was evident that the horses are well-cared for and in good condition. The two hours I booked offered more than just a simple ride on the beach – we also explored the impressive landscape around. It was a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend this excursion, whether you have riding experience or not."

Absolutely a must do activity! It was absolutely amazing. This was an experience I will never forget. - Where do I begin… Short Summary: Absolutely a must do activity! It was absolutely amazing. It’s a small locally ran business and you can tell the staff is like family. This was an amazing experience that I will never forget. More details: For me, the care of the horses is very important and 100% these horses are very well cared for. They were well groomed and feed. Secondly, the trail was so gorgeous! It was absolutely amazing to be able to see the beach and suburban life of Thailand. You go into a small town outside of Krabi and that was great to see. And lastly, the guides were great!!! They speak very little English but that wasn’t an issue. They were very friendly and helpful. I am a more experienced rider and my best friend is a beginner. The guide was able to accommodate both of our riding experiences. I was allowed to run with my horse! And my friend was able to stroll with her horse. The guides also are willing to take pictures and video of you which was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great time. And I would recommend the two hours excursion. One hour will leave you wanting more.

Not really worth the Money. Horses tortured. - We are ambivalent. The riding itself is quite nice. We had booked the beach and the jungle. Both fell short of our expectations in terms of the scenery. The horses seemed tired and tortured. At the beginning there was one horse too few. Our guide was constantly smoking weed. You should think carefully about whether it's worth the money.
