The Troodos Mountains’ lush, temperate woodland provides a perfect getaway near Paphos. Your adventure begins by ascending to the hamlet of Platres, from where you’ll initiate a 3km trek beside a stream leading to the Caledonia Falls, followed by a customary repast at Psilo Dendro eatery.

Our excursion commences at the refreshing Kolossi Fruit Garden. Here, you can indulge in some freshly squeezed lemonade and purchase fruits before venturing deeper into the mountains towards the charming mountaintop hamlet of Platres - our starting point for the nature trail. Along a 3km path, walk alongside the gurgling Kryos Potamos stream through the lush green forest.

Once you’ve reached the Caledonia Falls, you can pause at the shaded fresh water area before proceeding to the renowned Psilo Dendro eatery, famous for its trout farm. Unwind over a leisurely lunch – trout is their speciality, of course – and take a leisurely stroll through Platres village prior to heading back to Paphos.
