A great tour - This private tour was excellent. I was with my mum and sons (age 4 and 1). I chose a private tour as I was worried that on a group tour we may not keep up, with the children. Our tour guide was knowledgable and gave us a chance to ask lots of questions. We were also given options about what we focused on. In two spots our tour guide gelped us with tge pram. Highly recommended!

Get the most out of your Knossos visit - Akrivi took us on a private tour, we walked past the long queues and chaos at the entrance, she managed to engage the children (tweens-older teenagers) and hold their interest for the entire time, in perfect English. Fascinating insightful information, just the right amount at each stop. She is clearly highly knowledgeable in her field and conveys all the key information with the right balance.

Exceeded Expectations - This tour was well worth the money, and then some. There were only six people in our group, so we were able to move quickly and easily through the palace and the museum. Our guide was a wealth of information, and clearly seemed to enjoy her job. Well done!

Very interesting and value for money - We booked this tour with transfer and so glad we did. We were picked up from our Hotel and transferred to the entrance of the Temple where we met our very knowledgeable guide Ioanna. From here we skipped the queues and met up with the rest of the group. The morning was a good time to the tour as it gets very hot and shade is minimal (take water). From here we embarked on a whirlwind of facts and sights, some of which I knew (do your research), a lot of which I didn’t. This was an excellent tour not only factual but mind provoking and gives a lot of insight into Greek history and dispels a lot of misconceptions of how we perceive that History from afar through selective teachings. When the first part of the tour ended we were taken back to town at the spot where we were to meet our next guide, this gave us an hour of free time to grab some lunch. We arrived on time meet our next guide and off we went. This tour was a lovely way to get to know our way around the city and our very knowledgeable and personable guide Arie, was very informative on the ancient and modern history of Heraklion. We were taken to a lot of fascinating places and beautiful sights. A lovely way to spend a couple of hour, highly recommended. The walking tour ended at the entrance to the Archaeological museum of Heraklion where we once again met up with Ioanna for the final part of the tour. This tour was excellent value and very interesting, well worth the time and money.

Great tour operator - Really enjoyed our historic guided tour as well as day sailboat trip to Dia; both our guide and captain were top notch, super friendly and did an incredible job. Our kids enjoyed the stories, learned to tie special seaman knots and even sailed the boat for a bit. Super highly recommended.

Enhanced Intellectually - Ioanna has been the best tour guide we have ever had. We were challenged intellectually and we learned so much from her during our Knossos Palace and Archeological museum visit. Our city guide (cannot remember her name) was also wonderful.
