Interesting Historical Abbey - Very well done tour of a very interesting abbey. Quality museum area. We joined a tour that was in German. Fortunately they provided English audiotapes. The guide was able to add details along the way beyond the audiotapes.

Tour of the monastery in Klosterneuburg highly recommended - Excellent tour and a sensational guide who had an answer to every question (Mr. Zisser). It was a great refresher on the history of the Habsburgs, Babenbergs and the Imperial era.

Great way to spend an afternoon - What a hidden gem! Beautiful grounds and building only a short train ride from Vienna. I did the ‘grand tour’ (90 min) and even though I was listening to the audio guide in English while the tour was in German it was well done and I felt well worth the price. Also picked up some local wine way the gift store. Would definitely come back if I had more time and do the wine cellar tour as well.

Expensive for very little - The free visit on a weekend morning (out of season but weekend nonetheless) costs €9.50 to visit three rooms of a religious treasure that is quite common (apart from the archducal crown) and comparable to what can be found in Vienna. The abbey is an exceptional place in Austrian history and it is understandable that not everything can be visited freely, nor that there are guided tours at all hours. But it is impossible, even having paid almost 10 euros, to see the altar of Verdun, to visit the cloister or to enter the church. The Imperial Apartments require a guide, okay. But the museum, especially at this price, must be fully accessible, and the church even more so!
