Highlights
Altezza Travel - Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you will meet an Altezza Travel representative, and transfer to the hotel under the rate. The hotel will provide all the essentials for a comfortable stay: cozy rooms, hot water, polite staff, a swimming pool, and Internet access. In the evening, there will be a briefing with our managers, who will also make sure you are ready to begin the climb.

Life time experience in the Kilimanjaro region - We (a group of five with 4 different nationalities) have just arrived in Moshi after a 7 day trek on the Kilimanjaro Machame route. In every way it has been a unique experience with many aspects - an experience that I will certainly never forget. Firstly, the nature in the Kilimanjaro region is beautiful and very varied. We hiked through a total of 4 different climate zones (often several on the same day) - ranging from tropical rainforest at the foot of Kilimanjaro to arctic climate with the glaciers of Uhuru Peak (the highest point in Africa). Secondly, the trip was incredibly well planned and organized by Altezza Travel and the team allocated to our trip (25 people in total!) were top class professionals. Huge thanks to our superb guides (Abraham, Nelson and Richard) and help guides for following us safely through Kilimanjaro and to Uhuru Peak and back again. Huge thanks to the kitchen (Peter and Ian) for fantastic food and serving 3 times a day (I will miss being woken up to a cup of tea). Huge thanks to hard working Alex and many cool and strong porters for providing tents, chairs, tables, rucksacks and food and drink throughout the week. Huge thanks to everyone for your kindness, good mood and last but not least - for your wonderful Kilimanjaro songs and dance. You have a wonderful culture! Personally, I am proud to have completed the entire route and I reached the top! (only possible thanks to 'the fantastic 25'). And last but not least, I am grateful to have had this great experience with my eldest son.

If you want to be surprised with the details, this is an excellent option - Company that are in all the details. From the beginning (when providing the first information) until the delivery of the certificate.
The night before the promotion I had a talk at the hotel about everything I had to take into account and they even checked the luggage and the things I was going to take.
They provide you with a bag that will carry the things you would need for the rest of the days, and they prepare you to carry only what you need for the first day of hiking.
If it's your first time, they make sure you have everything you need to get to the top of Kilimanjaro.
You will not lose comfort, they will wake you up with a cup of hot tea, they will give you a stuffed animal that has a hot water bottle every night.
I won't say more so you can be surprised.
I am very professional and organized. They will make sure you can reach the top.
In my particular case, I did the 7-day Machame route, on the ascent hike, I felt sick to my stomach, and 2 guides stayed with me and the group continued. They assisted me and we continued at the pace he needed and made all the stops he wanted.
They really are prepared for all situations.
You have a GPS where family and friends can track the trekking.
Our guide Ricardo shared Wi-Fi with us 🫶.
It's really worth every dollar you pay.
Note: the list of items for trekking is almost mandatory, not that you do not have it or do not want to bring it, you can (or they will make you) rent it.
You will not carry a heavy backpack, you will only need it for the day of hiking. The porters will be responsible for carrying the tent and the rest of the luggage.

One of the best experiences of my life. - A truly amazing experience I will cherish for life. When reading reviews about Altezza, I thought “wow, can it really be THAT great?”. And what I learned is that the reviews do not do it justice. It’s BETTER than 5 stars. The guides (Victor, Gerald, Eliyah, Agrey, Austham), assistant guides, and porters are some of the greatest humans I’ve ever met- genuine, caring, hardworking, full of joy, positive, AMAZING people. There is no better company to hike Kili with.

On Kilimanjaro with Alteza - We had a great experience. The climbing team was responsive and always ready to help. The food was excellent - the borscht gave me strength before the climb. The hotel immediately allowed you to plunge into the atmosphere of Africa - the buildings are stylized as traditional huts, household items and art are allowed to display a unique culture. The alternative exceeded my expectations and helped achieve my goal.

Best travel company - We just went down to the hotel, I hasten to express my most vivid impressions! Alteza exceeded all expectations! We were received as the best and long-awaited guests, surrounded with care, support... you can imagine that on the night of the assault they sang songs in Swahili to us to cheer us up! We fed you guacamole, pancakes, pizza, borscht... I sincerely recommend it, you definitely won’t regret it

Warm and tasty place. - The Aishi Machame hotel is the great place, where you fell you self comfortable and safety. Tasty meals, friendly staff, warm atmosphere.
Good internet connection, you can work and download, do video calls. Lots of monkeys at the garden and nice restaurant, where you can rest and communicate. It’s nice play for stay, relax and prepare for the climb.

Machame 7 day route - Altezza blew us away with their hospitality, experienced guides, wonderful food, clean tents. We had an incredible experience. All of us made it to the summit without any issues. They seemed to be the best company on the mountain, we would definitely book again with Altezza and highly recommend them!

Fantastic hike with an amazing crew. - Incredible experience. Even though we could not summit due to extreme winds, the hike still deserves a 5 star review. All of the guides and porters were absolutely amazing. Fantastic service from all. Will definitely be back one day to reach the summit!

Amazing time - Wow what a journey we had with Altezza. The last 7 days were amazing because of the hard hard work of the entire Altezza team to ensure our time was memorable. We did not summit due to a dangerous windstorm (no group from that route did that evening) and the hike was still amazing and something I won’t forget. The team was always smiling and made you feel so comfortable and safe! We were awoken to coffee and tea in our tents, had hot water bottles every night to stay warm, and 5 star food the entire time. Best food we had in Tanzania thus far. The hike was fun and not to challenging other than the windstorm and altitude. The workers still continued to provide excellent service when the windstorm started which broke our mess tent and constantly blew sand into your eyes. If I decide to return to reach the summit I know what group I’ll be choosing! Thank you Altezza for the great week and lasting memories ☺️☺️
