An experience of a lifetime ❤️ - Our experience with Jagroop (the host) in a beautiful village in Amritsar was just MAGICAL. From the moment we arrived, Jagroop & his family showered us with warmth and hospitality, making us feel like cherished guests in his home. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the exhilarating tractor ride around his village, accompanied by the infectious beats of Punjabi music. Just pure JOY ✨ Jagroop’s genuine joy in capturing our moments through countless photos added an extra layer of delight to our day ❤️ But it wasn't just about the activities; it was about the genuine kindness and sweetness Jagroop exuded. He truly is a gem of a person, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. His family's delicious home-cooked meals only added to the feeling of being welcomed into their fold. Starting our day by milking cows and then being given the opportunity to drive the tractor ourselves, all while immersed in the vibrant rhythms of Punjabi music, made this experience unforgettable. As someone who has been enamored with Punjabi culture for a decade, spending time in this village felt like a dream come true—a true immersion into the heart of Punjab. Jagroop’s hospitality and the warmth of his family made this experience one we will treasure forever. For sure, THE BEST experience of my life! We are eagerly planning to returning soon to relive the magic of village life once again ❤️

Wonderful local insights - So warm, welcoming and hospitable - this was a wonderful experience of family and farming life in a typical Sikh home in a Punjab village. We met Jagroop and spent time talking, learning, playing and eating! Three generations of Jagroop’s family welcomed us in their household - delicious lunch prepared with the produce of their farm, option to be carefully dressed in traditional attire, impromptu dancing with the ladies, and a tractor ride around the district, looking at the crops grown and waving and laughing with local people. This is not an adrenaline experience, but rather an opportunity to understand a typical lifestyle, learn some history, hear about farming techniques and challenges, and experience the warmth and genuine hospitality of a local family.

An awesome experience in Amritsar - We had a wonderful time, learning so much from our great guide, Jagroop Singh, about the Sikh religion, the city of Amritsar, and Indian history and culture. And we very much enjoyed his warm, humble and spiritual companionship. A truly first class experience. Thank you.

Do not miss this if you are in and around Amritsar. - If you want to experiance an authentic feel of a country village in Punjab Mr Jagroop is the right contact to get in touch with. From his farm tour to driving his tractor and most importantly heart warming welcome from his family. I shall always remember the food that was served. We live in metropolitan city and from direct farm to your plate is something that I always look for when i and my partner whenever we travel and that's what exactly I got here. I have been secretly pondering from the time I left Jagroop's place on how to figure out how I could get my hands on the authentic Jaggery and his home made pickle couriered to my place The warm hospitality of Jagroop and his family was both heartwarming and genuine. We were welcomed with open arms into their homes, and it felt as though we were a part of his family. There was a lot to learn from Jagroop his way of handling his guest, his knowledge on culture and history of the place and the community. The hours we spent over there just flew by. I hope Jagroop's plans to grow into a homestay happens soon. I am sure it would be an additional experiance altogether.
