- Swayambhunath - Swayambhunath Stupa aka “The Monkey Temple,” is located on the top of Kathmandu. It has 365 stairs to be actual that contains you to the top for the exceptional view of the city itself. You can locate many small shrines and souvenir shops on the way to top with monkeys roaming around freely. You are free to take pix on the road, and some monkeys would possibly pose for a photo too. As the top, you will see a sizeable gold-plated thunderbolt (Vajra). It is one of the intriguing monuments there. Also, right next to it is the large white dome with a cubical top. It is the Swayambhunath stupa that did now not fall even` though many other temples around the area crumbled after the earthquake of 2015. You will also see many prayers wheels of special sizes nearly in every section around the Swayambhunath.

Hence, at Himalayan Advisor, we’ve pioneered a one-day tour covering all seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites–the first of its kind in Nepal.
The tour spans from 7 am to 7 pm, with private car transportation for expeditious transitions between sites. The journey encompasses not only the landmarks in and around Kathmandu but also features the celebrated city of Bhaktapur and the less frequented yet widely revered Changu Narayan.

Kathmandu cultural immersion - What a fantastic day. It was long but packed with new and interesting cultural experiences. The guide and driver were fantastic and went out of their way to make the whole experience special.

A clear recommendation! - You are picked up from the hotel in the morning in an air-conditioned car and within one day you see all the important temples and UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu. The tour is private, so the guide can adapt to your personal wishes. My tour guide Shanti spoke perfect English, was super competent (she studied the topic at university) and extremely nice and friendly. Even though at first glance it sounds like a lot for one day, I never felt stressed or rushed. Everything was very relaxed and pleasant. There is enough time if you want to stay in one place for a while or if you suddenly feel like eating something or having a coffee. You see all the highlights of Kathmandu... which made a big impression on me personally. A clear recommendation!!!

Friendly and courteous - Wanted to cover the most important heritage sites of Kathmandu in a day, since I only had one day to spare. The guide Mr. Anant is an excellent guy who knows a lot about the places to be covered. Very friendly and knowledgeable guy. Always enquiring if I understood what he said.

Full Day Tour Unesco Heritage Tour Kathmandu - I was fortunate enough to have a private tour of these amazing Temples. My host, Shanti, was a pleasure to have as a guide. She is very informative and knowledgeable and went out of her way to make sure that I was safe and well looked after. We were lucky to have Hindu and Buddhist festivals on the day we visited so there was lots to see. A special mention to our driver as well (Gorgon?) who was very patient in the crazy traffic and a very safe driver. It is a 'full on' day covering all of the Unesco sites but for someone like myself who was short on time, it was good to see it all in one go.

Perfetct Experience! - If you plan a trip to Nepal book this tour immediately! We had a whole day trip in Kathmandu with a comfortable and air conditioned car. The service and the guide is great and well informed about everything. Especially try to get guidance from Mr.Ananta as a guide if possible. He is a an excellent guide, very helpful, kind and he always thinks one step ahead and provides you with a well informative history of Nepal.
We had great fun and spent a great day that will never be forgotten.

A gem in Kathmandu - Very good tour. Santi was fantastic and has great knowledge and understanding of the culture, religions and sites. Very friendly, personable and made sure I was safe and satisfied.
And she did not hesitate to say when she did not know something. So important not to make up stuff as others sometimes do.
Highly recommend. A great way to start on Kathmandu and seeing overview of its major sites.
