Additional Information

The Everest Base Camp Trek lets you explore high-elevation sites visited by just a select group from the global population. Journey along the path taken by Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, trekking along the majestic Himalayan ranges which include the world’s tallest peak, Mount Everest (8,848 m). Bask in the enormity of these giants and feel awe-inspired. On your way savor the Sherpa hospitality and culture, immerse in Buddhist spiritualism (evident in the trails decorated with mani stones, chortens, and vibrant prayer flags) and the breathtaking mountain vista.

NOTE: The flights to and from Lukla in Kathmandu shifted routes to the Manthali Airport, Ramechhap district in 2019 & 2020, due to high air traffic in the prime trekking period (Mar, Apr, May, Oct, Nov). As of now, the flights operate directly between Kathmandu and Lukla. An additional cost might apply if airlines don’t provide shuttle services, or if you opt for a private vehicle instead of the shared airline-provided transport.

  • The price is for 1 person based on two people booking. It is also valid for a single person booking. However, if we don’t have an existing group for your chosen departure date or anyone to share the accommodation with you, a single surcharge of USD 250 is applicable which you need to pay upon your arrival in Nepal. At the time of booking, we will inform you if we have a group or not for your date. The single surcharge is also applicable if you don’t want to join any group and want a solo departure.
  • Domestic flight luggage allowance: 15 kg

Everest Base Camp Trek - 14 days: A fantastic adventure - I had an amazing experience, everything from the airport pickup to the end of the trip was well-organized. As a solo traveler I was very happy that I was part of a group of amazing people from all over the world. Our guide Raj, the assistant guide Sher and guide Sunil (who joined us for one week with his group which were doing Three Passes Trek), had always positive and supportive attitude and they were always there to help and make sure everyone was okay. Raj has a strong knowledge about medicine, which was really helpful when I felt sick because of the high altitude. With his advice, I got better and could finish the trek happily. I am also very grateful for the effort of the porters, thanks to them we had our duffle bags always ready when needed. The trek itself was tough, but it felt great to challenge myself. It was an unforgettable journey that I'll always remember. If you want an exciting adventure, I highly recommend going to Everest Base Camp with Ace the Himalaya.

Amazing EBC Trek with Nimesh, Kaali & Hari! - Our Everest Base Camp trek was unforgettable, thanks to our incredible guide Nimesh and porters Kaali and Hari. Nimesh expertly navigated the trail, ensuring our safety and adjusting our pace to help with acclimatization. He kept us informed about the local culture and history, making each day more enriching. Kaali and Hari were fantastic, always ready with a smile and helping with our gear, which made the trek much more manageable. Their encouragement and support were crucial during the tougher parts of the trek. We couldn’t have asked for a better team!

Trek EBC with the best! - I went with Ace The Himalaya with Guide Deepak. They were AMAZING! Very thorough and detailed company. I had the best experience with them. I even got sick on the trip and Deepak and team were on it with medicine and getting me to lower elevation. They truly have your back and I felt very safe with this team. We had so much fun! The views are beautiful! Deepak is so knowledgeable about the mountains and so friendly and made sure all of us were having fun and getting up safely. Also, the pricing is amazing with the accommodation, food, permits, everything it comes with, you truly can’t beat it! 10/10 recommend that you go with this company if you want to trek EBC! They’re the BEST! ❤️

Superb!! - So glad we found Ace The Himalaya to arrange our trekking to EBC, very cooperative with every questions we gave them, you won’t be feeling lost using their services. Our guides are also super helpful with our needs along the trekking way. Sushanta as the lead guide and Soman as the assistant guide are always taking care each and everyone of the group member. They make sure to check our health condition, and make sure all the group members are together, none left behind. The porters are also great in doing their job. Two thumbs up for them..!! Overall it was a great experience to do the EBC trekking, a once in a life time and memorable one.
