Amazing - We had a fantastic experience doing the Langtang trek with Dil and our two superhuman porters. Walking through the valley up to 4000m was amazing. We hadn’t done any walking for a while, but Dil paced us perfectly, so we didn’t struggle too much. Dil was always making sure we were ok and was very careful about AMS symptoms. He kept us topped up with fruit and snacks, and stopped for short regular breaks at the right time, before the big hills. We stayed in some really nice tea houses, and even got some snow in Langtang, which was fun. Dil even managed to sort us out a jeep on the way back which was a very memorable experience with more amazing scenery. Everything was brilliantly organised and we’re now looking forward to doing another trek with Magical Nepal. Thank you!

Magical, fun, peaceful - whatever you need it to be - escape to the mountains - My friend and I booked a private trek with Magical Nepal with the help of Saugat who was extremely communicative before, during, and after our trip. He thoroughly and fluently answered every one of our silly questions pre-trek and helped us arrange a helicopter to Kathmandhu when my friend was too sick to descend from Kyanjin Gompa. He was very familiar with the process including insurance and hospital information and we are so grateful for it. Our guide, Sajan, was so great. He helped us buy some last-minute gear we needed before the trek (look for Gopal at Goreto Gear Traders) and was amazing in organising our accommodation and lunch stops as we progressed day by day, and ensured that we got top-floor, sun-facing, ensuite rooms at each teahouse - amazing. Sajan was so familiar with the trek that he knew someone at every stop. He could also point things out like native beehives, and animals and birds at a distance that we wouldn't have otherwise seen. Sajan is a bit of a jokester too, so we had fun even when it was tough on those long, upward climbs. Our porter, Himal, was a childhood friend of Sajan's. We still can't believe how quickly he could walk ahead of us up the mountains in CROCS!!!! Overall, I felt safe and confident that Sajan and Himal could help us through the trek, with support from Saugat on ground. We couldn't have asked for a better team! The trek itself is beautiful, with mostly narrow, partially shaded trails in the forest or grassy open trails parallel to creeks and streams and the occasional teahouse. Days 1 and 2 are probably the most challenging - especially in the heat of the afternoon - but very manageable if you just keep moving at your own a steady pace. I'd say the daily estimated walking durations on Magical Nepal's website were pretty accurate. Reaching the top of Kyanjin Ri was magical. The most spectacular views and the greatest sense of accomplishment! It was amazing being up there with the birds flying around you and watching the clouds and winds pick up as we left the summit. We spent almost two hours up there soaking it in. So peaceful. TIPS - Book the private Jeep! There were stretches of 'road' that felt like an extended rollercoaster ride and I can't imagine what it would have been like in a bus. We got to Syabubresi in much better time than the bus did - Extend the trek by a day if you want to give yourself extra time to acclimatise to the higher altitudes like we did - Organise altitude sickness tablets from your doctor before your trip - Bring water filtration tablets - Pack daytime snacks to keep you going! Maybe something sweet because teahouse food can become a little same-y after a few days

Highly recommend, epic trek! - This trek with MagicalNepal was the best! We always felt well-informed, safe, organised and the accomodation and food was consistently good!! We went with Dilman who was such a good vibe and we experienced perfect weather and glorious mountain views. we were even lucky enough to receive blessings from Lama Rinpoche in our very own hotel!!! I loved this trek because of the Tibetan influence and it is also nice to put some money back into Langtang after the tough few years they have had. I highly recommend MagicalNepal and will definitely use them with my future treks :)

Once in a lifetime incredible experience of the real Himalayas. - This trip was incredible and easily one of the best things I’ve ever done, all made possible by the perfect planning of magical Nepal and incredible Guide Dil Man and our porter Mr B. I did the tour solo and was joined by a great Aussie girl who magical Nepal matched me with and checked if I was okay sharing the experience before she joined. All of the accommodation was scouted out perfectly and all good paid for within the few which made the experience stress free and smooth. Dil Man was the ideal Guide who was incredibly knowledgeable when asked any questions and very supportive in the tough parts of the trek. I’m a fit 29 year old and I think it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done physically, but also the most rewarding, reaching a height of 4995 meters on the highest peak we walked to. We experienced unique Nepali and Tibetan culture amongst breathtaking views. I needed to deliver supplies to the school in langtang for a friend and Dil helped out with the process massively, making the children very happy and taking stress from myself. If you want to explore the Himalayas and challenge yourself whilst taking the stress of accommodation and meals out of the equation then I highly recommend Magical Nepal and Dil Man.

Charming, a professional with a lot of experience and a source of knowledge of local culture. In my group there were only two of us and it was ideal to be able to connect with nature, the locals, and live an experience that I will remember for a lifetime! Thanks Chandra!

YOU MUST BOOK THIS!! - We had an absolutely amazing time on this trek. It was our first one so we were nervous but our wonderful guide Mitra made us feel so comfortable. He took such good care of us at the tea houses we stopped at along the way. Mitra always made sure we were okay and reminded us to take breaks or slow down. We felt very safe and comfortable. The views are so worth every step and challenge. From start to finish it was such a smooth process for booking. We are so grateful to Mitra for making this trip memorable. Highly reccomend asking for him! He is now our friend for life :)

Beautiful Langtang Valley trek - My partner and I did the 8 days Langtang Valley Trek at the start of October 2023. It was a wonderful experience, the valley is truly beautiful with fantastic views over the snow capped peaks and we really enjoyed the Tibetan culture, lovely people and the prayer wheels and Om Mani Padme Hum walls paving the path. We booked with Magical Nepal as we wanted a Nepalese company and it’s been brilliant. We felt everything was taken care off and it was great to have a chat with xxx when we arrived in Kathmandu so we can make sure we have all the équipement ready! Lovely to share dinner as well after the trek. Our guide Narayan was the best guide we could wish for. His encouragements and patience were wonderful and his smile totally contagious so we had a lot of fun on the trail, learning Nepali words and dancing! He looked after us so well, always a step ahead, making sure we are comfortable and “kushi pauna” (happy guests)! I miss our special tea and biscuit after a long day trekking! 😊 I celebrated my birthday in Langtang village, the day trekking and the evening celebration are memories I’ll cherish for a lifetime! I am so grateful to Narayan for arranging an amazing birthday cake at 3500m!!! and to our hosts at Langtang Flavour Guest house for their lovely hospitality that night. Turning good unpredictable bad events .....Magnificent Langtang Valley - LANGTANG VALLEY TREK: Visit it with Magical Nepal and its team. Just back from the Langtang Valley, I want to thank once again Pradeep and its great team for supporting me during my trekking in Nepal and letting me have this great experience. Langtang Valley was not in my plans, but owing to unpredictable weather conditions, all the flights to Lulka were cancelled for several days so that my original trekking to Gokyo Lakes was aborted. In this incredible mess, litteraly overnight, Pradeep managed to organize me another solo trekking - Langtang, actually - which proved to be a great and unforgettable experience. This Valley has everything you may desire from a trekking in Nepal, like: adventure by jeep to reach Syabrubesi, trek in the jungle, massive, immense and superb mountains, spectacular views, good, even basic, tea houses. All was made possible, in particular, thanks to my guide, Sajang Tamag: he is an entusiatich, passionate young Nepali who really love his work, always on my back taking care of my safety, supporting me in the tought moments - how to forget his help during the strong ascend to Tserco Ri? - constantly taking care of everything and always available; his English is excellent. I was supported by his good fellow, Samir, which was a super kind and precious porter, again, always available and helpful: I have been lucky to meet them. Furthermore, Sajang Tamag proved to be an excellent photographer and movies makers; his videos will remind me of my great an unique experience I had in Nepal with him (and them): many thanks again Pradeed, Sajang and Samir to make it possible and see you in the near future. Langtang, Chitwan, and Kedar Paudel - Amazing trek with magical Nepal to langtang valley I highly recommend booking with this company! Pradeep and Saugat handled the itinerary of our whole trip and communicated it very effectively with us before and during the trip. Kedar Paudel was an AMAZING guide!!! He was so knowledgeable about the valley and we got to stay at one of his friends’ (Dawn) small guesthouses and watch them make momos one night it was an experience I will never forget being able to learn so much about the culture. We met her family including her one year old granddaughter Kim-Yung who was the absolute most adorable baby ever. Kedar made sure we were always well fed and had plenty of tea during our stay. He is very aware of individual members preferences and physical abilities and did a great job to ensure we all got to the top of Tsergo Ri for unbelievable views. Kedar knew like 95% of the people in the entire valley it was very impressive and all our accommodations were “tip-top!” 😉 We booked a private Jeep to get us to and from the valley which I would recommend due to the very windy roads in and out. Also the porters Mila and Bhiru were awesome and helped so much carrying our bags. I learned a lot of Nepali words from Bhiru which delighted the locals to see us trying our best 😅😂 After the trek we decided to go to Chitwan for a jungle safari (we saw a wild rhino!) and Pradeep again organized all the details for this including hotel and activities, we upgraded to Green Park Chitwan for an add’l $40USD per night and it was definitely worth it—very nice pool and big spacious rooms. We did 3 nights in Chitwan but 2 nights would’ve worked if you’re in a hurry, it was nice to have one day off to relax in the pool. Overall great trip. I would definitely book through magical Nepal again in the future and I would make sure to ask for Kedar again since he was so spectacular and absolutely hilarious.
