Girls day out - Very fun experience and great for children. My wife and 13 year old daughter had a wonderful time. You chose the style and precious metal and then make your ring. The metal is extra but worth the experience.

Fun couple experience - Making rings for each other in Kanazawa - Overall a lovely experience as a couple, which deserves a 5/5. The staff was very nice and friendly and the rings ended up beautifully.
One thing to consider is that based on the type of ring you choose (silver/gold, size etc) there will be extra costs, which we were not aware of when we booked. Also have in mind that it is not the entire making process done by us, only hammering of tha pattern (which was very fun nevertheless)

Intimate and fun - Was a very nice experience, we were the only ones doing it and we made a ring for one another. You don't actually make the ring, you just make the pattern of the ring which has many choices. Also, the fee on this ad is for the smallest size, to get a normal sized ring (silver) it cost us an extra 11000 yen (about $110), which we paid onsite. But we enjoyed the experience nevertheless.

A lovely keepsake - Making our rings was fun, but you only do one aspect of the ring making which is creating the texture and hammering it. Also, know that the cost of the experience only includes the thinnest silver ring, which the instructor said is not strong. If you want a thicker ring or a different metal you have to pay more. This surprised us, but I guess considering the cost should not have. I just wish I knew this upfront and I probably would have only booked one of us instead of all 4 and could have spent more on one ring.
