Changed my perspective on Kampala -- so glad I did this tour - I was reluctant to book this tour, as Kampala didn't initially strike me as a walkable city. But I am so glad that I went on this tour. I learned much about Uganda and it's capital, and now have a much deeper sense of place. My impressions of this lively city favorably shifted after this half day tour, and now I can't imagine visiting Kampala and not doing this walk about. And if you go, I hope you'll be as lucky as I to get Tajiri as your guide. She's delightful, friendly, and very knowledgeable. And she went above and beyond to help me coordinate transport and communicate with my hotel, and stayed with me until my transport arrived.

Great Experience - Taj was a great guide - very knowledgeable in the history of Kampala. It was a great experience to see how the locals shop and visit iconic places that I wouldn't have visited by myself.

A full overview of Kampala - Our guide knew all about Kampala history, it's origins and being a local, knew the culture. She took us to all the must see places and also was a very lovely person. This walking tour will get you quickly acquainted with Kampala, it's layout, culture and people.

Best City Walking Tour I Have Experienced - I had a fantastic time walking through the City with my guide. She was knowledgeable, kind and patient. Being solo, the guide allowed me to explore some areas a little deeper like the uptown market and helped me purchase mangoes and these delicious plantain pancakes. I saw many places that I wouldn't have explored otherwise. 10 out of 10 would recommend anyone with a day in the City take this tour. Be ready for the hectic City traffic that fills the roads. Crossing roads can be a bit of a dance with bodas and cars but the guide was super helpful with timing the gaps in traffic. All part of the experience and something I enjoyed! Thank-you, Tanner

My favorite day in Kampala! Do yourself a favor & book this tour! - I had the absolute best day with Fridaus. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Kampala & Uganda as a whole, made sure that the pace of the tour was comfortable for me and was just a pleasure to spend time with. We saw all of the major sites in Kampala, the highlight of which was going to Nakasuri and Owino markets - Fridaus also made sure I had the opportunity to take pictures and try local foods. Finally, I wanted to buy a jacket from the crafts market but didn’t have enough money at the time so at the end of the tour Fridaus came with me back to my hostel to get money and return to the market just to make sure I got the best deal possible - talk about going above and beyond!! Can’t recommend this tour enough!
