Lucky lucky lucky! Thanks, Patrick! - Patrick was the best! Had a wonderful time on our safari adventure! We got SO lucky to see all we did. So thankful for these memories. Patrick did a great job tracking animal footprints, educating us on animals, and allowing us plenty of time to take all the pics we wanted before heading on. We did the mid-range safari and stayed at Pakuba Safari Lodge. So glad we did! It was so close to the action! Our boat cruise went long (about 3 hours) and didn’t leave much time for an evening game drive, so we hung out around the lodge and went for a swim. Thankfully, we were able to catch most animals before the boat ride!

Authentic Ugandan safari - The guide told us a lot about the history and culture of Uganda which was very interesting and informative. The staff in the lodge was super friendly and took great care of us. All in all we had a great time and we’re surrounded by very kind people and got to see a lot of animals (including leopard)

Amazing experience! - I was in Uganda for a month for a different reason and decided spontaneously to go on a 3 day safari to Murchison Falls in my last days here. Since I was a girl travelling alone and also on a student budget I was a bit weary at first but I am so, so glad I decided to go in the end! The national park seemed like a different world, so calm and picturesque, and even on my mere three days there we managed to see all of the big five (even two lion cubs) and many many others. Encountering a herd of elephants is something I will never forget, - all of it was an experience I will treasure forever! What was also special about this safari was that the trip to the Rhino sanctuary was already included in the itinerary, which is something you shouldn’t miss out on! The lodge I stayed in (Heritage Lodge) was also very cozy and much nicer than I had expected for a budget/mid-range option. And of course I can't thank my driver Patrick enough, who was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and dependable and made me feel comfortable during the trip while also being great company! I can warmly recommend him! The communication with the company was easy, I was contacted shortly after booking and even though the trip was originally for a minimum of 2 people, it was no problem to do a solo trip instead and also to book on short notice, since I decided I wanted to go for a safari only 2 days before the departure date. All in all it really was the perfect end of my stay in Uganda and I can't recommend Simba Africa Expeditions and also Patrick highly enough!

Magical weekend - We used this company because we could choose the level of accommodation we wanted the hotel was really good. The website was easy to navigate and easy to book. When we phoned them they were helpful and gave us good advise. Frank our guide was amazing he had such a lot of knowledge about the animals and the park and was happy to talk to us and help us. He was great at spotting the animals even when we couldn’t see them until we used the binoculars. He was happy to chat to us about the country and the culture he helped to make the weekend special. We had a very magical three days and I would recommend this tour company to others. We are hoping to return and do the gorilla treck many thanks for a magical weekend.

A city escape - Excellent tour! We were two friends trying to escape Kampala for the weekend and it couldn´t have been better than this trip to Murchinson falls. Our guide (Tonny) truly was the best, all caring and very experienced on the park and it´s inhabitants. The park is fascinating with a large variety of animals to spot as well as the impressive waterfalls. All was topped with the rhino trekking in the end. We managed to see the "big five" and enjoyed the beautiful landscapes throughout. The tour itself was very well planned, despite the long trip and the early wake ups, we always felt very relaxed and never rushed. Big recommendation for everyone who only has a couple of days to discover Ugandas beauty!

Worth every penny! - After a false start with another Trip Adviser package where I received very little communication, I booked this trip with Simba Africa Expeditions despite them having no customer reviews. I needn't have worried! Almost immediately I started receiving messages confirming my trip and arrangements. I did have to pay extra than advertised because I was a solo traveller, but the increase was relatively modest. It also meant that I had a personal guide and driver. Arnold was excellent, very knowledgeable about everything and obliging, ensuring that I wasn't short of food or water. My accommodation near Pakwach was unique and very comfortable. It was in easy reach of the National Park. From the get go I was busy with three game drives and a trip on the Nile river to Murchison Falls. But be prepared for an early start every morning! But so worth it with an abundance of wildlife, and I managed the 'big five' including a close encounter with a leopard. Arnold had so much knowledge of the wildlife and I learnt so much. And on top of that we got to walk with Rhinos in Ziwa Sanctuary. I would without hesitation recommend Simba Africa!
