A truly memorable safari experience - After looking at a few safari operators, we settled with Shinzelle, given it’s competitive pricing and Danielle’s sincerity in making our safari experience truly memorable. And it was! From our pick up at JNB to our return trip, all activities were on time and done with utmost care. Our accomodate was perfect, just 15min from the Phabeni Gate. And of course, the highlight was the Kruger Safari experience and panorama tour. We saw all Big 5 in their natural environment, plus more! Special shout out to Jeffrey our safari guide who was absolutely fantastic! The guy has eagle eyes in spotting Kruger’s treasures, including 3-inch chameleons crossing the road, twice! Then after two crowded sightings of the elusive leopard, Jeffrey found one all to ourselves, resting on a tree. OMG! A big thanks to Danielle and the Shinzelle team. You truly deserve a five-star rating. More power to you!

Very delightful and smooth safari trip! - We had a wonderful time. The trip was very well organized and all the staff (at the lodge, the shuttle bus drivers, the tour guides) were competent courteous and punctual. Shinzelle Safaris delivered above and beyond our expectations.

Perfect Trip! - My friend and I traveled to South Africa for the first time and had an excellent experience in the country. We had such a great time with Shinzelle Safaris! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this package to anyone. The safari was a must and driving along the panoramic route and experiencing other parts of the area was well worth it.

Trip of a Lifetime! - We had an amazing time with Shinzelle Safaris and saw so many animals each day of our safari, including 4/5 of the Big Five. Derrick was an amazing safari guide and was so knowledgable about all of the animals we saw. We had so much fun getting to know him and learning more about South African culture and wildlife. We also especially loved the amazing views of the Panoramic Tour and were glad we included that portion in our package.

Fantastic! - Three of us were in Hazyview last week and did the four day trip with Shinzelle. Jayden was our driver for the safari and he was absolutely wonderful!! He is so knowledgeable and astute in his awareness of animals, birds and their behaviour. The lodge where we stayed was great, the food brought to our room each night was fabulous (kudos to the chef) and there were even monkeys swinging in the trees to make it more perfect. Can't recommend this safari enough!

Perfect Honeymoon - My husband and I came here for our honeymoon, and had the most incredible experience! The cottages at the Windmill Resort are adorable and spotlessly clean. Every staff member we interacted with was attentive and friendly. Our safari guide, Jay, was super fun and knowledgeable! He managed to find great viewing spots and taught us a ton about the area and the animals themselves. We enjoyed his sense of humor, and we saw really incredible wildlife during our safaris with him. The food was great, and overall utter was a magical experience. Best. Vacation. Ever.

Just an amazing, once in a lifetime experience - We had the most amazing 4 days with Sammi as our tour guide. From the moment he picked us up from OR Tambo airport to when he dropped us off at our accommodation after the tour, he was friendly, informative and so very helpful. The only animal he didn't find for us in the Kruger was a cheetah - bonus points for 4 leopards and 2 lions in the first 2 hours of the last day :). Overall, the tour was one of a lifetime. The accommodation was fantastic, food wonderful, and we had an amazing time. Thanks to African Budget Tours for their help.

Trip of a life time - But we want to go back again! - We had the most amazing experience on Shinzelle safari's, everything far exeeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived at Windmill Country Retreat in nearby Hazyview, we were made to feel welcome. We were travelling with our 6 year old daughter and we were very comfortable and catered for at all times. All the accommodation is great but we were treated to an upgrad to the family cottage which was very spacious with a huge veranda. The ground were in a beutiful natural setting with Monkeys and Mongoose playing on the back lawn it was a very relaxing place to stay. Each day we either had a great packed breakfast supplied or had a prepaid meal arranged inside the park. The dinner meals were a real treat each night there was a selection of modern South African dishes that were restaurant quality and homemade as well. If you have kids (and if you don't) please ask Dani if she is making her 'Papsagne', it will be a meal to remember. The tours in Kruger were beyond amazing. We had two guides on our tours Yuri and Jay. What can I say about the passion and knowledge. If all of their guides are are good as these two gentlemen you can't go wrong. The very personal and special tours we recieved made the experience all the better. If you want to chase animal sighting by based on radio gossip - a Farrari safari (as Jay called them) this is not the tour for you. However if you want to experience Kruger through the eyes of a knowledgable and experienced guide who will give you a feel for the environment as a whole then you will not be disapointed. This did not mean that we did not have amazing sightings. Over the two days we had many amazing animal encounters and viewings including; 2 white Rhino's, a leopard, Hyean cubs, Hippos, Elephants, Girrafe and lots more. The Panoramic Tour is also not be missed, the views are mindblowing. After only a few days we felt like we had a second home. Even though this was a trip of a lifetime, we wanted to go back alost straight away. I can't recommend Shinzelle safari's highly enough. This is definitly a world class product at a family orriented price.

Great service and Unforgettable experience - We did the 4D3N Kruger and Panaromic Tour Experience. Due to our flight schedule, we had to change the itinerary of the trip and Danielle/Amy kindly accommodated our requests. We were given an upgrade to our room with private candle light dinner. What a great way to enjoy our honeymoon. Our guide, Jayden entertained us throughout and was very knowledgable about the safaris and behaviours of the animals. Caught the big five and many other animals up close. Guess the point in spending so much to go to a safari is because each trip will definitely be different. There is always the anticipation of possibility spotting an interesting sight, the disappointment and frustration when you missed something and the satisfaction when you see something out of the blue. The leopard and the lions were just meters away from us. The panaromic tour would have been better if not for the fog. We managed to see half of what was planned. On our last morning safari before departure, we were treated to a big surprise; a pack of wild dogs along S1 towards Phabeni gate. Totally enjoyed ourselves and it was an unforgettable experience for my wife and I.

An incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience - We had the most extraordinary time with Shinzelle Safaris. Everything was very well-organized and ran extremely smoothly. The staff was beyond friendly and professional, and the food was DELICIOUS! For a first-timer coming to SA and doing a safari, they really take care of everything. The room/accomodation was great (comfortable, had everything we needed, clean). And of course - the safaris we went on were so much fun! Thanks so much to everyone, next time we come to Kruger we will be coming back to Shinzelle! :)
