The stunning Taj Mahal of Jodhpur, known as Jaswant Thada, is a majestic cenotaph constructed from finely etched marble sheets. These sheets, being very thin and polished, glow when the sun’s light hits them.
The grounds of the cenotaph are adorned with carved pavilions, a multi-level garden, and a petite lake. Within these grounds, there are three additional cenotaphs. The cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh showcases renditions of the leaders and Maharajas of Jodhpur.
