Yongmeori Coast, located at the foot of Sanbangsan Mountain, is named such due to its likeness to a dragon’s head diving into the sea. The peculiar cliffs formed by wave erosion of the sandstone rock walls offer a surreal look into the long history of nature’s influence.

Jeju’s columnar joints are natural formations found in basaltic lava flows, resembling delicately carved 4- to 6-sided pillars, offering a touch of nature’s mystery. These are notably found in the largest Jungmun and Daepo coast columnar joints in Korea, standing tall at 30 to 40 meters and spreading over 1 kilometer. They are designated as Jeju Island Natural Monument No. 443.
