Highlights
  • Jasper National Park - Join us on an awe-inspiring 45km journey through the Maligne Valley in Jasper National Park and discover why this area is considered one of the most stunning natural wonders of the world. This tour offers an exceptional opportunity to witness Jasper National Park’s vibrant wildlife, cascading waterfalls, and serene lakes.
  • Maligne Canyon - A 30-minute stop at Maligne Canyon allows us time to explore the two bridges, offering fantastic views of the cascading waterfall and continuing erosion of the ancient limestone.
  • Medicine Lake - As we continue into the Valley, we climb into the sub-alpine forests and view the expanding ranges of limestone rising out or Medicine Lake. This mysterious disappearing lake changes seasonally as the flow rates of melt waters fill and empty this basin. A stop is made to photograph this natural wonder, and your guide traces its history with you.
  • Maligne Lake - Arriving at Maligne Lake, embark on a scenic boat cruise where you’ll take in stunning vistas of the lake’s glacial-blue waters and the towering mountains that surround it. You’ll be protected from the elements on the comfortable enclosed boat while you’ll learn about the human and geological history of the area. The 90 minute cruise stops at Spirit Island, where you’ll have the opportunity to walk to the famous photo viewpoint and capture some of the most stunning scenery in the Canadian Rockies.
After the cruise, you can enjoy your own packed lunch or purchase a delicious grab-and-go lunch from the Maligne Lakehouse restaurant (additional expense) before we depart back to Jasper.

A great introduction to Jasper. - A great introductory overview on our first day in town. Thoroughly enjoyed all the beautiful sights and lunch far exceeded expectations…good quality and big portions. Didn’t see any animals on this tour but saw moose, bear, sheep and elk just driving around on our own.

Great tour - Great tour with Jamie spotting some wildlife and stopping at some beautiful sights. We were very lucky with our Maligne Lake Cruise as upon arrival we were told that the 9am cruise had been cancelled due to heavy cloud and now we had beautiful clear blue sky, really enjoyed our cruise and Spirit Island was beautiful

A terrific day! - A truly enjoyable day. Ross, our guide, was great fun and very knowledgeable. The van was comfortable and the wildlife and scenery were great. The Lake Maligne tour was equally awesome but obscured by clouds and smoke, but the sun coming through while on Spirit Island was inspiring. I highly recommend this tour in all respects from pick up to drop off.

Great Tour - Our guide was funny and provided great information about the animals and area. Bus was for small group so we got lots of individual care. Our guide had many stories and kept us all engaged. We saw an entire herd of elk but didn’t see the elusive moose!!

Fantastic day out, enhanced immensely by Ross our guide - Ross was the star of the show. Very knowledgeable and entertaining and such a nice bloke. His stories were really entertaining as was his desire to get us the best experiences. Maligne Lake was stunning although we really wanted to do the lake AND Ross’ walk. Sunset at Maligne sounds really good and worth considering. Ross told us about walking the Maligne canyon in winter - now that would be an awesome experience.
