Highlights
- Pedra da Gávea - We will start from the meeting point, a walk inside the Tijuca National Park.
This trail requires physical conditioning, a 2.5 km walk, where it will take approximately 2h30m to the top.
During the journey we will be able to contemplate the flora, fauna and beautiful views. With stops whenever necessary to hydrate, catch your breath and of course take pictures.
After passing through the paradão, one of the most popular places to photograph and with an incredible view, we will then arrive at the famous Carrasqueira, where we will go on a climb or rappelling suber, with all the necessary security.
Continuing the trail, we reached the top and now it’s just time to enjoy the best view of Rio de Janeiro, we’ll get to know all the main points and contemplate this achievement.

Tough hike for a breathtaking view! - Lucas was a great guide. He arrived at the meeting point early and sent me a message, which was very considerate. He rented all the equipment in advance, so the group started the hike as soon as the park was open. We were moving up at a very nice pace (it was tough but doable). He assisted us at the bit where the rope climbing was involved very professionally. The view from the top was gorgeous and totally worth all the effort! We got as much time at the top as we wanted to, and Lucas took the pictures of us at the best spots. He was really nice, I absolutely enjoyed the experience! The hike was not easy, but it made it even more fun in retrospect!

Amazing experience - The trail was beautiful but the views were breath-taking. Rodrigo made sure we safely climbed the rocks- you definitely need a guide for this trail. Super grateful for the experience!

Amazing best hike - The most amazing hike I’ve ever done from start to finish. The views are spectacular. Our guide Guia Rodrigo was fantastic so friendly and knowledgeable he took so many beautiful photos/videos of us. 10/10 I would highly recommend this hike and guide Guia 😊

100% recommend! - I had a great hiking experience up pedra da gavea led by our friendly and skilled guide Rodrigo (Indio)☺️. Rodrigo managed to motivate me with calm and patience up the climbing area of the mountain despite my intense fear of heights. He also helped us take cool photos and videos of our experience. Great hike and breathtaking views! 100% recommend! 🤩

Amazing Guide to the top of Pendra da Gáeva - Such an amazing experience! He talks about the historie during the walk and is really friendly. He takes a lot of time for the guests and takes good pictures. I felt secure with him and made it up to the top! The view is unbelievable and worth the walk. We even saw many animals on the way. If you hesitate, book it! You will not regret it. ❤️ Thank you Rodrigo!

Highly recommended - The communication was smooth and clear. He is very knowledgeable about the trail. He helped us where to put our feet and hands to make our rock climbing part safe and enjoyable. I don;t think I could do it without a guide. We started around 8 am and came back around 2 pm. It's great that the path was less crowded and before the hottest time of the day.
He also helped us to plan /book other tours. He is very friendly and fun to be around. He also took memorable pictures for us. I cannot recommend him more.
