Ruaha is a wonderful National Park beautifully situated along the fertile Ruaha River in a hilly landscape, dotted with centuries old baobabs. Despite the fact that you can view all the animals of the popular Serengeti and Ngorongoro, Ruaha is visited less often. Amazing trip to Ruaha National Park - We actually took an overnight trip to Ruaha. It is rainy season here, so we weren't overly optimistic about what we would see. However, our guide Mikel provided an experience we will never forget. I particularly wanted to see one of the big cats, and he not only showed us two lions, but we were able to see a leopard in a standoff with a group of foxes and jackals. It was noisy, but so exciting to watch. We also saw elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas, baboons and more. The scenery alone was worth the trip. I would highly recommend Wild Gaze and Mikel as a guide. E. and M.

2 days - 1 night Ruaha - I can highly suggest this experience. The company is very professional, the owner very polite and gentle. Our guide and driver Michael was simply amazing. We have seen so many animals, even leopard twice. Unforgettable experience, highly recommended!

Best Safari in Ruaha - Hello guys, a big thank you to Wild Gaze Safari and their team. I booked a one day trip to Ruaha departing from Iringa and I had a wonderful time there. Not only the Safari was a full success indluding the "big 4" in Ruaha but also the accomodation in the Pazuri Guesthouse belonging to Wild Gaze and their services. Everything went smooth including pickup from busstop, a city tour with Fredrick the son of the owner to histroical and cultural places in Iringa and another trip to Isimilia.

A great time in Ruaha Park - My friends and I had a really good time with Ernest in Ruaha Nationalpark. It was our second time in Ruaha. On our first trip we had some misunderstandings about our booking that actually weren’t Wild Gaze Safaris fault but nevertheless Ernest took the responsibility and give us an other Day inside Ruaha National Park for free. On both trips we saw a lot of animals and also our accommodations inside the park were really nice. In the night you can hear and if you are lucky also see the animals outside. Ruaha is a great Park with a lot of animals. You could probably have a nice time there with any safari company but if something goes wrong or you have misunderstandings, unexpected events, (things that could happen every time) you can be sure that Ernest will take the responsibility and will be aimed to find a solution for you.

Amazing trip - In my opinion the price was really fair and we received a lot for it! We didn’t saw that many animals but the quality was overwhelming (raining season). We saw 3 male different lions at the same in a River with a elephant tribe crossing the river. Was really amazing. Also the accommodation was great and we even saw elephants waking us up at 2 am. The Food was also fine. I can fully recommend the wild gaze Safari with Ernest as driver esspecially. Thanks for everything.

I'll only choose wild gaze safari from now on - Ruaha National Park with Ernest is the best way to visit it. It was my second time in Ruaha, and thanks to him we got to see many other places, It was beautiful. During the game drive he takes so many little roads into the bushes and you spot many more animals . I would recommend to anyone Wild Gaze Safaris as they are very professional and Ernest does his job with passion.

Wonderful Ruaha - Ruaha is certainly the best park in Tanzania, still really wild, less crowded and much cheaper. Our guide was just excellent, explaining a lot of very interesting things about the animals we saw and their behaviors, but also about the plants, geology, culture,... Cheap solution is to go from Iringa in the morning in order to get in the park at 12-1pm and to go out the next day or the day after at the same time, because the entrance fees are charged for 24hours. The bandas are a very good and budget option to sleep in the park.

Wonderful Ruaha NP safari and side activities! - We had a great safari with Wild Gaze Safaris to Ruaha National Park. We spent 2 days (one night) on the safari and saw all big 4, and so much birdlife. Amazing park to visit for one day. Would not recommend to go much longer as tour drivers stay in the same area around the river as the chances of spotting wildlife are greater there. We also went to a local primary school and although we only planned to stop by for 10-20 min, we ended up spending over an hour because it was so interesting. A huge plus to this safari. Afterwards we went to a Maasai village and although I was very sceptical of its authenticity at first, it turned out to be a great trip as we talked a lot with the only English speaking person in the village (he also spoke Swahili and Maa, which was reassuring). The driver was the one part of this safari that could have been improved. Both me and my partner are conservation biologists working in Tanzania (Serengeti region) and therefore know a bit about the system. The guide was untruthful or ignorant about many things about the park and the human communities living around it. He was friendly and enthusiastic at most times, but the drive back he was honking almost nonstop, which is even for Tanzanians an odd thing to do. Hence the 4 out of 5 stars. Ernest (boss of Wild Gaze Safari) is friendly, helpful, honest and straightforward, which was much appreciated! Thank you for the wonderful experience!
