Starting at an elevation of 560 m close to the historic center of Innsbruck with its timeless structures and the globally famed ‘Goldenes Dachl’ (Golden Roof), the Hungerburg cable car was conceived and created by the celebrated architect, Zaha Hadid. The standout stations, Löwenhaus and Alpine Zoo, have ushered in a new era in international architecture. (Entry fee to Zoo is not covered)

Innsbruck funicular is so fun - Just do it. Extremely memorable experience with incredible scenic views. You can stop and visit St Theresa's Church along the way. We had to buy more tickets to go higher up so be prepared for that.

Unmissable tour. - Wonderful tour. It's worth going to Innsbruck to take the cable car ride to Hungerburg. Wonderful view.

Top experience with fantastic views - Great experience. Taking the train up from the old town of Innsbruck is already an experience. And then up with the cable car. You can sit upstairs on the terrace in the sun. I had a delicious meal there with a great view of the city. Even saw the planes pass beneath you. Also great for walking

OK - its just the first part of the journey, but you get to the top of Innsbruck for a great view. Also, the stations are really cool from the architectural viewpoint!

Do this... amazing views - This is such a great trip to take from Innsbrick. It's It's quick trip with amazing views at the top and a cute little village

Amazing view from the top - It was a lovely day. So the pictures from the top of the city are amazing.
I really recommend it.

Nice view but overpriced lift - This is a nice but short lift considering the price ticket.The view is amazing on the top and there are some nice places to eat.We just found it a bit expensive for two families with kids.

A little bit annoyed - A wonderful experience but be aware that this is only the very first stage of your journey and if you want to go to the Top of Innsbruck. You will need another ticket at approx £35 to go right to the top. I bought the funicular ticket online and didn’t realise it only covered the first part of the journey.

Nice ride poor outcome - Took the cog rail so we could enjoy the view above Innsbruck and we enjoyed the ride and the view. Dissapointed that all the restaurants except a cafe were closed on Tuesdays ss we had hoped to have lunch while enjoying the view.
