Highlight of our trip to Greece - Came to Greece for 10 days with my wife to see Athens, Crete, and Santorini. Private guided island tour with Zak was the highlight of our trip to Greece. He picked my wife and I up at hotel, we knew instantly this was going to be a wonderful day. Friendly, funny, full of information and knowledge of the island, considerate of our needs, Zak was perfect. Can't say enough Thank you Zak and Shades of Blue for a memorable day

Blues Shades of Greece Tour with Spiros. - Spiros drove us on a tour of the island. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Spiros was very patient with us and accommodated our desires to see different sites and visit a bakery. He shared his in-depth knowledge of the island with us. We had wine tastings and food pairings at Vassaltis Vineyard and Domaine Sigalas vineyard. Canava Santorini Distillery (and local history museum) had tastings of their ouzo and other spirits. The Lost Atlantis Experience Museum was definitely an experience. Everyone was very nice. The drinks and food were excellent. My wife and I will take another tour with Blue Shades when we return to Santorini.

Thanks to Zac and Blue Shades of Greece! - We have just finished a wonderful island tour with Zac around Santorini and can't say enough good things about the experience or our guide! It was lovely to see the whole island, and Zac was incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining and friendly throughout the day. He welcomed questions, and we feel we now know a lot more about this unique and beautiful island. Insider knowledge got us to a lot of places we would never have found alone, and we would recommend the tour (and Zac as your guide!) to anyone!

A great introduction to Santorini - Spiros, our driver and guide from Blue shades of Greece, gave us a customized tour of Santorini that perfectly fit our physical abilities. He was extremely personable, knowledgable and the best driver. We had a wonderful time exploring Santorini and collecting all the wonderful suggestions that Spiros gave us to make the most of our stay in Santorini. He seemed to know the best places for photos and restaurants and we had a lot of fun.

Wonderful tour of Santorini with wine tasting - Fantastic experience learning about Santorini and especially with the engaging Spiro who was our guide. We enjoyed being around him so much that we asked him to join us for the meal at Sigalis Winery. Spiro is able to combine a vast knowledge with fun for our entire group, and he always knew the best spot for photos and lighting. He is such a wonderful guy that when I accidentally left my sunglasses in the van he took extra time to drive back and personally return them to me.

Discover some hidden gems in Santorini! - If you are interested in learning some history of Santorini, this is a great tour. The Akrotiri excavation site was truly fascinating. The Sigalas winery was a highlight. The food was wonderful and paired well with the wines. Our guide, Spiros, was very friendly and knowledgeable. My entire family (all adults) enjoyed the outing. Would highly recommend!

Efharisto! - Two and a half years of planning our return to Santorini…….bookings and cancellations over and over….. All dealt with the utmost respect, patience and professionalism by Lefteris Karipidis of Blue Shades of Greece. We booked a Private Custom Six Hour island tour and could not have been happier. We have been to Santorini several times and had already seen much of the island so this custom tour was the way to go. Everything arranged perfectly ahead of time so very few formalities to take care of when we started. We arrived to meet our driver and were thrilled to see that it was Spiros- the fun, likable, smiling, professional gentleman who had picked us up the day before at the airport :) and even got to meet Leftheris who had come to say Hi. Spiros is a gem. He is filled with stories, history, anecdotes and charm and most importantly he is a darn good driver. Anyone who has ever been to Santorini knows the winding narrow corkscrew roads that need to be maneuvered, he handled it all perfectly. He had our itinerary for the day but before we got started on that he had “a little surprise”- we made an unscheduled stop at the Lost Atlantis Experience. This is an interactive museum that you can not miss. Just take my word for it. We visited the village of Akrotiri and wandered its streets, traveled to the Lighthouse - breathtaking. We went to Profitis Ilias monastery and were blessed to be able to light a candle for a very dear friend. Off to Hazidakis VIneyards and then to Domaine Sigalas for wine tasting with the most delicious of food pairings. The village of Oia was not on my list of must sees as we have been there before and had planned to hike in the next fews days to Ammoudi Bay for lunch, but Spiros said “trust me, I know a spot” and he sure did. We got the most beautiful view of a quiet, uncrowded spot in Oia. It was a gift. Our day passed far too quickly, our goodbyes were said and it is a day we will treasure for a very long time. Do NOT hesitate to book with Blue Shades of Greece- you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful - It was an amazing experience. We had the chance to be alone with our guide due to COVID restriction. Their first preoccupation is making sure everything is ok and perfectly settled for you. They answer to all of your questions and are more than friendly. For sure, I will recommend them.

A nice complement to very amazing Santorini - I would highly recommend Blue Shades of Greece. Lefteris was our tour guide, and he was just superb from start to finish. Extra points, too, since he is also our driver! He basically "sold" Santorini to us - by making sure we knew about the history of the sights and answering questions. There were even times when he would say kalimera to some of the folks on the way, which is great so we know we're not getting lost! He took our family pictures, and went above and beyond by using the panoramic feature of the iPhone - very nicely done. He gave us great recommendations for lunch and tips on how to shop for souvenirs as well. Part of the tour was the wine tasting - and the view at Venetsanos Winery is worth visiting! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly as well. We visited Akrotiri, which is a dream come true for me, since I only see it in history books. It's great to see it up close. Lefteris had a lot of words of wisdom during the trip, but the most memorable one to me was when we were taking pictures - "we have the best camera in front of us, our eyes, and the best memory card - our minds!" Thank you. If we ever go back to Santorini, I want another tour from Blue Shades of Greece - they're that good!
