  • Golconda Fort - Situated west of Hyderabad, Golkonda Fort is like a tiny kingdom in itself. It was once a city of diamond trade and hence some brilliant gems like the koh-i-Noor and the Darya-i-Noor were excavated from the mines around Golkonda.
  • Qutb Shahi Tombs - North west of the fort, out through

Great Tour of Hyderabad's historical monuments. - Our guide provided us with a great tour of some of Hyderabad's historical monuments, and with his knowledge of the area and friendly demeanour, it really added to our experience. India has many amazing sites but one thing we found most amazing is the people and how friendly they are.
