Our passion for Hiroshima is profound, and we’re excited to give you a more intimate understanding of life in this city! Join us for an evening jaunt through central Hiroshima where we’ll accomplish two things: Expose you to the typical nightlife of the locals, and ensure you’re well fed! If you’re up for it, a few beverages will also be provided. Our tour covers everything (even the tips!), so you’re spared from having to part with any of your precious yen during our time together.
A variety of fresh seafood, tempura, slow-releasing flavor foods, assorted grilled items, and much more will be there for your indulgence. If you have certain dietary requirements, that’s entirely fine – just give us a heads up. At the end of our journey, not only will your stomach be blissfully satisfied, but you’ll also have a strong comprehension of the contemporary culture of our charming city. Amazing and Friendly - The tour was a lot of fun and the food was delicious. Our tour guide, Ako, was amazing and friendly. She explained all the dishes we were having and shared great conversations with our group. She also took us to a food market to share with us what the common food Japanese buy for their daily meals. It was so cool. I really enjoyed the food tour and making new friends with our group.

Perfect evening in pub scene of Hiroshima - It was an amazing tour through Hiroshima visiting three different places to see and understand the restaurant and pub scene of the town. Alexander did a great job showing all these locations, taking care for everything, took professional prictures and took care for an umbrella after rain started. Perfect evening

A Must Try For A “Local” Experience - Amazing food tour with Alexander! He was very knowledgeable about Hiroshima and took us to places where the locals eat. We experienced three different types of restaurants - all very casual and neighborhood feel. The food was incredible! Overall a great time!!

Informative and fun food tour - This was an amazing food tour. We were taken to places that we wouldn’t have thought/intimated going to. We were so full from all the food. I would recommend this tour to get the authentic Japanese food experience.

Food and cultural enrichment - Pleasant evening in a small group (4 participants). This makes agreeing on food choices much easier (e.g. no compromising due to vegans vs meat eaters).
Trevor was very knowledgable and put a lot of effort in elaboration and explanation. We liked his choice of restaurants and the group dynamic was great. The highlight was the last place we visited. We ended up in a small, cozy bar populated with super friendly, curious and welcoming locals. Trevor assigned himself a second role as the translator and enabled an interaction between us and the people there. Thanks a lot for that. Without booking this tour, we neither would have checked out this place nor had this very funny enciunter with the locals.

Money and time well spent - Trevor was our guide and he was simply amazing! We left our trust in him to select dishes at each restaurant (nothing squiggly and nothing slimy). The food was amazing. The drinks delicious and enough time to stop at a nearby liquor store to purchase a bottle of Japanese Whiskey to take home. I highly recommend!!!

Stand and eat with the locals - Do not book this if you don’t want to stand and eat. It’s not clear in the description, so minus 1 star, just says food stands. Otherwise, it was enjoyable and the food was good. Trevor was helpful and explained many things about food and customs.

Hiroshima Night Life. It was fun even for us 60 year olds. - Trevor, was pretty good. Speaks good English. He made sure everyone 7 people were feed and had their own drink of choice at each of the three bars. We personally had a little trouble finding him at the beginning meeting place, but most Japanese people will gladly help you find your destination if they speak English.
