An extraordinary experience - It was a wonderful experience that offered great views, just the right amount of fatigue, and taught me about mountains. For this activity, we climbed the mountain with the assistance of E-MTBs, and finally walked to the peak. Our guide watched our pace and led us at a reasonable pace. I'm a programmer and a salaryman who is severely lacking in exercise, but I was able to keep up the entire process. Our guide was also very knowledgeable about the mountain environment, and taught us a lot along the way. It was a great experience, being able to climb the mountain at a comfortable pace while being soothed by nature.

Adventure Man Yuta San ⛰️ - We were in Hiroshima for two days and spent one of those exploring Peace Park. For the second day, my grandfather had organised for the five of us to go on this eMTB tour. As the meeting point for the tour was tricky to access by public transport, Yuki Adventures offered for us to be picked up directly at the hotel by our guide. Our guide, Yuta, was super friendly and really added to the experience. Although I am a fit and athletic young person, I'm not a regular cycler. I did find the climb challenging in some points, even with a EMTB. The tracks are in good condition and let you take in the beautiful scenic views. There is steep hike towards the summit, though it is short and manageable. Yuta made regular stops along the way to check in and speak about the land and culture surrounding us. Once at the top, he prepared us some tea from the foraged Bear Leaf we encountered along the hike. We also enjoyed a pre-prepared lunch from a local spot whilst we took in the serenity and endless views of the islands. The ride back down was exhilarating! Yuta suggested we try the Onsen to rest and recover before we headed back into Hiroshima. It was very relaxing and just what I needed (tip: make sure to step onto the balcony and enjoy the mountain views from the outdoor onsen - same temp). The whole day was a great experience and I'd definitely recommend it if you are visiting Hiroshima.

Day trip from Hiroshima to the mountains - This tour was a ton of fun! Yuta can pick you up downtown so you don't have to make a 2-3 hour bus trip to the experience center. The e-bikes are very nice for the steeper roads, and the view at the summit is amazing! The hiking portion is pretty steep but you can take as many breaks as you need. At the top Yuta brought box lunches and made tea with a little camper stove, he has a wealth of knowledge about the local area and its history to share throughout the bike ride/hike. There is an onsen next to the experience center you can get a complimentary ticket for, I recommend bringing a change of clothes if you plan on using it. Afterwards you can get driven right back to your hotel, which is super convenient! I definitely recommend this tour as a way to see a bit of the Japanese mountains/countryside while visiting Hiroshima.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! - The experience was honestly amazing. My partner and I arrived at the Yuki experience centre where we were met with the very friendly and awesome Yuta who gave us a rundown on how to use our electric mountain bikes. After our introduction we all set off onwards to our journey through the mountains. Yuta was amazing and accommodating, we stopped at intervals to have breaks and aswel learnt a bit about the surrounding area, we even stopped at small stream where I was given the opportunity to gather some fresh water that we would be using for coffee later! When we arrived at the base of the mountain, our ebikes were no longer needed so we journeyed the rest of the way on foot. It was surreal walking through such a beautiful forest, the different types of leaves and trees all delicately caked in snow, it made us feel like we were in a movie it was so beautiful. Then finally we arrived at the peak. It was honestly the most breathtaking view, uninterrupted 360⁰ view of the surrounding landscapes at about 1050m high, really felt like you were on top of the world. We took a a moment to take many photos whilst Yuta was preparing a delicious lunch for us with coffee he made from the spring water that we collected earlier. We all took a moment and really breathed in the atmosphere it was so pleasent and amazing. After our time on the mountain we made our way down and jumped back on our bikes. Earlier we spoke about a nearby scarecrow town and Yuta was more than happy to take us there! Arriving at the scarecrow town was really interesting and different, many of the scarecrows could of been mistaken for real people, it was eerie but really impressive and cool to see! Shortly after our brief time in the town we headed back to the Yuki lodge where Yuta showed us to the public onsen! The onsen was honestly amazing and the hot water really helped our muscles after a big day of biking and hiking. Afterwards Yuta personally drove us back to our hotel in Hiroshima which was about an hour drive so we are forever grateful for him to take us all that way ☺️ Overall this experience is something I will never forget, my partner and I could not have been more happy and fulfilled that we had the opportunity to explore the amazing Japanese countryside, and the biggest love for Yuta for making the experience wonderful and accommodating. (Also I forgot the mention, Yuta was taking the best photos of the journey the whole time and made a album for us to recap the amazing time!) We can't wait to come back and do more tours with Yuta and the team at Yuki experience centre. Thank you all so much 💜

The view from Mount Omine, the highest peak in Hiroshima, is amazing - The view from Mt. Omine was amazing. The lunch and coffee we had while taking in the 360-degree view were also fantastic! The E-MTB was comfortable and easy to use, even on steep slopes and gravel roads. I would have gotten lost if I had been alone, but thanks to the supportive guide, I was able to enjoy the climb while learning about the trees, history, and more. I'd definitely like to go again.

[The view from Mt. Omine is spectacular] - In addition to the activities, our guide was very knowledgeable and experienced, and we had a lot of fun talking about the nature and history of Yuki. We also got to visit the inn that was the setting for the famous manga "Okura Muku". Thank you to our guide, Mr. Igarashi!
