Your initial interaction will be with the driver from Sameera Tours, leading you to Yala National Park. Here, your safari guide will greet you at the park’s entrance. The morning half-day tour kicks off at 6:00 am, while the afternoon expedition starts at 2:30 pm.
Once inside the National Park, aboard a jeep with your guide, be ready to spot leopards and sloth bears among other wildlife and bird species cohabiting in this sanctuary. Your guide will enlighten you about the distinctive features of the Park, enhancing your understanding and appreciation of Yala’s multitude of plant and animal life.
The expedition covers a considerable portion of Yala National Park, journeying through wetlands, grasslands, forest patches, and the like. Extended intervals will be allocated at specific watering holes for tranquil photography moments.
The Safari comes to a close around either 11 a.m. or 6 p.m., and subsequently, you will be returned to your accommodation in Hikkaduwa.
