Lantern making - This was so much fun, the husband and wife that run the shop were so friendly and helpful, it's so fulfilling making a lantern under their guidance. I would highly recommend this activity if you are in Hoi an and you like the lanterns here. You can fold them up and take home as a souvenir as well

Great fun making beautiful lanterns. Brilliant and authentic souvenir to take home that we made ourselves 🤗 - This evening myself, girlfriend and friend went to do a lantern making class. It was so much more fun than I expected. We were presented with an overwhelming array of beautiful fabrics of many colours and patterns to choose from so we were able to customise our lanterns to our own liking. Mrs Hung and her husband were so friendly and helpful. It was really nice chatting with them whilst crafting our lanterns. The coffee and snacks they gave us were really tasty also. Thanks very much to you both for a lovely evening

Great experience! - I booked the course in the evening and was the only participant. I had a lot of fun, especially because both teachers were super nice and talkative. During the conversations, the crafting almost faded into the background. Great experience!

Beautiful experience of creating a Vietnamese lantern - Lanterns are the symbol of Hoi An and represent its centuries-long commercial and cultural tradition; for this reason, Hoi An lanterns are among the most popular souvenirs in the city. At this point, why not build your own lantern to take home with you? This is an activity that lends itself very well even to a rainy day but I advise you to try this experience regardless of the weather: it is a real must in Hoi An, as well as something typical and traditional that will allow you to completely immerse yourself in the culture of this incredible city. We organized this experience here at Hang and we were extremely satisfied: we were guided by her and her husband, both extremely kind and skilled. The cost of the workshop is 200,000 VND (approximately €7.50) per person (which includes the creation and the possibility of painting the lantern, which then remains yours) for a duration of approximately an hour and a half. We particularly appreciated the experience: we were planning to buy a couple of lanterns for our home anyway and the fact that they were created by us makes them even more special. You can choose shape and size, as well as the various fabrics to use and mix together; alternatively you can also choose a more basic fabric and paint on it. Among other things, the lanterns are all foldable to take up little space (apart from the smallest models). Ultimately, a really nice and unmissable experience in Hoi An!

Couldn’t be more happier… - I didn’t taking part in lantern making class but I did bought 4 lanterns from here and the quality is amazing, staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I ran out of luggage space and can’t fit more. Highly recommended.
