Highlights
  • Hai Van Pass - Hai Van pass is one of the most scenic hillside roads in Vietnam where you can see green trees in contrast to waves in the blue sea. On the top of the pass, there are the vestiges of long ago, fortified gateway. The American and French bunkers in Hai Van pass provide broaden views for the city without any steep climb. At the peak a small rest station is where the tour from Hue to Hoi An takes break welcomes visitors with local and coffee on offer.
  • Lang Co Beach - Just 60 km from Hue, on the tour is the serene fishing township of Lang Co. The incredible Lang Co beach was recognized in 2009 as one of the 30 most beautiful bays in the world with the sloping sea, fine and clean sand, great moderate wave.

Visitors can sample the local seafood on the water at the restaurant at the end of walkways hovering over the water. Hence, there are some water sports offered for you to enjoy.

  • Lap An Lagoon - Taking a view afar, the village looks like a strip of silk winding between Phu Gia Pass in the north and Hai Van Pass in the south. Verdant trees, crystal clear waters, especially the image of the cloud covering the mountains makes the village fascinating and glamorous
  • Tomb of Khai Dinh - Different from the traditional architecture, Khai Dinh tomb was built with modern materials such as steel and reinforced concrete under the Western influences. The tomb is accessible by climbing 127 steps which are bounded by dragon banisters. Getting upstairs, you can see the house of epitaph, and many statues of mandarins, horses, soldiers… at the courtyard
  • Hue Imperial City (The Citadel) - The Hue Citadel is one of the most well-known destinations in Hue and was recognized by UNESCO as the World Cultural Heritage. The whole palace complex consists of three parts: The first part is Citadel which was built from 1805 to 1832, through time and war, it still maintains original nearly 140 small and large constructions. The Citadel was built for defensive purposes. The second part is Imperial City, the most important part of the citadel, built from 1804 to 1833 under Minh Mang King’s reign, Imperial City includes more than 100 architectural works for royal palaces and shrines and it was for the worship and ceremony purpose. The last part is Purple Forbidden City, built in early 1803 under Gia Long King’s reign. The Purple Forbidden City was served for the King and the royal family. The Citadel is one of the symbols of Hue city and a must visit place for anyone coming to Hue.
  • Thien Mu Pagoda - According to a legend, Lord Nguyen Hoang dreamt about a lady who said that the Lord would come and build this pagoda for prosperity of the country, believing in the Lady’s words, Lord Nguyen Hoang ordered to build this pagoda and named it Thien Mu pagoda which means “Heaven Lady”. A Day to remember - BTN Travel Vietnam kept in constant contact with us and confirmed our 8am pick up from our hotel in DaNang. Our Driver for the day Ngoc arrived promptly on time and safely transported us to Hue with a few stops on the way for photo opportunities. On the out skirts of Hue we were joined by our tour Guide Sang, what a charming character he was. He went out of his way to ensure our time in Hue was a very memorable experience for us both , he also ensure a special Lunch at a restaurant he knew. It was a long day , but one we will always remember. Put it on your bucket list

Do this tour!! - This tour was excellent. Sang was a great, funny, kind and his English was the best of any tour guide we have had so far in Vietnam. The driver picked us up in Danang on time and was nice with limited English. The ride was beautiful and a stop for pictures and a later stop with a clean bathroom was great. I didn’t know what to expect from the tour except the citadel, but both the Tomb and the pagoda were great. I am going to have to read more Vietnamese history. The pagoda gives a glimpse into the life of a monk, so that was neat. Sang did an excellent job on the Citadel tour. My two teens were very impressed. The restaurant was excellent and it was so nice to have the food picked out for you in a sample platter. I would definitely recommend this tour and Sang specifically. If you are interested in Vietnam war history, take the DMZ tour…maybe someday we will be back for that.

Perfect private tour - This trip was perfect from beginning to end. The helpful company office support whats apped us with pictures and details for our trip the day before and was on hand if we needed (although we didn’t have wifi until we returned to our hotel so hadn’t known that!) Our driver was friendly and let us stop when we wanted for pictures and toilet breaks. He also really looked after us with a vast supply of water and relieving aircon in the car. Our local guide Son was knowledgeable, friendly and very personable. He showed us the sights and taught us so much including some stories from his own family and culture. As part of our honeymoon we wanted a trip that was just for us and that’s exactly what we got. We could not recommend more highly!

Private tour for 2 - I booked 2 trips with BNT Travel by private car from Hoi An to Hue and Hue to Da Nang. My booking was through Ms Cheryl. She is professional and quick in responding to my requests. The booking process was very smooth. Our first driver was Mr Kin. His driving was very smooth and skilful. We felt safe and did not feel any motion sickness although we drove through winding mountainous roads. Our second driver was Mr Bi. He too is a very safe driver and also very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great itinerary with great guide - I like to research on my own on places to see but Ms.Tam still outperform me by suggesting those hidden gems. Car is ontime, meals included at great eateries, guide is knowledgeable & everything went great. I also missed out the original plan with a couple of hours gap, Ms. Tam suggest another place to visit to close the gap and made the arrangement so that the trip itself is free, I just need to pay the entrance ticket.
