Highlights
  • KÝ ỨC HỘI AN - Hoi An Memories show - The show will be from 20:00 - 21:00 from Wednesday to Monday. During the show, you will live in the atmosphere of Hoi An in the 16th century when Hoi An was a rural village, represented by a single farmer’s home and his family’s humble life and watched Hoi An transform from a country town into a powerful central trading port in Southeast Asia.

Though the show presents major historical moments, the real magic is in its delicate representations of daily life. Hundreds of actors live as it’s been done for hundreds of years. There are no dialogues or scripts; the city is the main character, and the narrator is the time thread.

As the lighting shifts and changes to illustrate years and seasons, it is impossible not to realize that each spectator is also a character. This moment is a plot point in the script. Our present tense is utterly inseparable from the memory of its past.

Hoi An Memories Show was Definitely Memorable! - We thoroughly enjoyed the Hoi An Memories Show! It was very colorful with an abundance of lights and the dancing was elegant and beautiful. We sat in the High Section and the view of the whole performance was perfect. While they had announced prior to the start of the show that cameras were not allowed, many people took pictures and videos with no repercussions from the staff. The show lasted exactly one hour. We didn't get there early enough to check out the complex, but it appeared there was lots to see. There was also at least one restaurant that I saw on site. There are plenty of taxis waiting after the show, so we had no difficulty getting a ride back to our hotel. The show is definitely worth seeing while you are in Hoi An!

Memories show - An amazing show, well organised well worth a visit. Get there a little early to give you time to look round and see all the mini shows. We booked Eco seats which gave us an excellent view. Downside of these seats if it rains .

The best night - The show itself was spectacular and enjoyable. The explanatory subtitles were displayed in Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and English, but the letters were too small to read. This time I watched from a high class seat, but next time I visit I'd like to sit near the economy class seats.
