Great food tour! - This was a great experience in Hoi An. Vu introduced me to several unique dishes to Hoi An. He explained the history and culture behind Hoi An and the food. I appreciated that he took the group to family owned restaurants. The people in the restaurants were so friendly. Don't hesitate to book this experience when visiting Hoi An, you won't regret it!

Gives you a different, lovely view of Hoi An. - Five star ratings don't often mean a lot - this tour actually deserved five stars. Vu, who is local and has a solid command of English, took us to less common spots, mostly in the new town. Walking along back roads and lantern-lit alleys, he was able to make the crowds disappear for a while and restored some magic to a place that can be a tourist trap. The food was good (banh mi, dumplings, local noodles. Don't eat beforehand, it will be dinner) but the thing he promised, a hidden Hoi An, was what makes this tour worth taking. This tour involves easy walking, and should be possible for almost anyone.

Excellent food tour experience in Hoi An - Friendly & Interactive. We experienced the traditional food prepared by the local families at their home & also at eating joints that are a famous for their unique recipes introduced by their previous generations. The tour was perfect for us, where we experimented with a lot of Vietnamese food items & especially some which are found only in Hoi An. Vu also made sure we know the story and history behind the food we tasted and relished. Definitely worth it!
