Amazing basket boat tour! Fantastic group! - Amazing experience!! So much fun!!! The spinning of the boat is absolutely amazing, so much talent and catching the small crabs is fun. The palm trees are gorgeous and provide an amazing backdrop for your photos. Team couldn’t do enough to ensure our experience was amazing!! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Hoi An!

great value tour - Really enjoyable tour with a couple of activities included. Definitely worth having a go. The owner was very friendly and worked hard to make sure we enjoyed it.

Super fun and well organised! - Very well organised - got picked up and dropped off directly at our hotel. The owner, Vu, was very friendly, informative, and took a lot of pride in his business. The welcome drink was also really appreciated. It is a touristy experience but great fun and our boat rower, Bong, really made our ride the best it could be. The tour lasts about an hour, including some crabbing too!

Great morning activity - We did this tour yesterday and it was brilliant. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the lady on the boat made the experience very fun. We did the 8am tour which we would recommend if you want to beat the crowds.

Basjet boat ride in Hoi An - Owner of Green coconut village Vu contacted us via WhatsApp 2 days before and the driver came picked us up on time. A refreshing drink was provided on arrival and he explained to us what we should expect in the 55 min +- basket coconut ride. It was very interesting and enjoyable. We had the best refreshing young coconut drink (extra money) after the ride. Shame we had to rush off for another event or we will have the lunch experience at his restaurant! Looks forard to returning for another boat ride.

Hospitality to the Max - What can I say!?!? Excellent hospitality!! Lets start with the day before the excursion. I received a message from Mr. Vu through whatsapp and off the bat he was so friendly. Reminding me of our pick up time and location. At 2pm, the day of our excursion, we had a driver waiting in the lobby on time (10mins before pick up time), which I'm beyond satisfied with punctuality. Then it was a 15min drive to the Mr. Vu's location. Once we arrived, Mr.Vu greeted us with a delicious passion fruit drink (yummy!). Went over the adventure and what we will see and do, asked if we had any questions, and showed us where the bathroom was. Now the adventure, it was a nice overcast day and the ride really made it hard to stay awake because it kept on rocking me asleep, which I love but not at that moment. Anyways, overall it was a great experience with beyond outstanding customer services!! My background is hospitality management and Mr.Vu and his staff have it!! So I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for the basket boat activity!!

Spinning coconut boats - Really good! Amazing service and English skills! Vu is Very helpful and welcoming. Something to note: The spinning is intense and better off at the end or being optional, as this made us a bit queezy. If you have a strong stomach you would be fine. Quite touristy. None the less a very good experience!

Boat ride with spinning in boat, then got a fishing experience for crabs - Really good! Only downside was the spinning in the boat made us feel a bit queasy — would’ve been nice to have the option to opt out!

Amazing Basket Boat experience - The boat ride was amazing and relaxing. The tour guide was very accomodating especially since we booked the night before.

Nice tourist trap if it had been cheaper... - The description does not match the activity. This is not a peaceful 2-hour walk close to nature, quite the contrary. The activity consisted of being transported for 30 minutes on a highway during rush hour, littered with waste. We had the right to a stop in front of "dancers" who were spinning their coconut boat to Gangnam style (music that plays in a loop every day and loudly). Of course tips obligatory. Then right next door, stop in front of a “fisherman” who is demonstrating how to throw a fishing net. And finally, crab fishing among plastic waste. Funny for foolish tourists, but less so when you realize that the real price is €5 and that the demonstrations are the same for the other 10,000 tourists per m2. So don't book directly on TripAdvisor if you absolutely want to do so, but contact the owner directly by WhatsApp. The price will surely be different (this is also the case when you look at its prices on its Google page). Or contact another company and take a grab (€10 return) or your scooter to get there. In short, a nice big tourist trap that we don't like. This is the most expensive activity we did during our stay in Vietnam (1 month) in relation to the service provided. There is absolutely nothing authentic about it and it destroys the environment. For the same price, you can do much better in Vietnam, I swear 😂
