Hawaii Shark Encounter

Shark Showdown

Put your courage–and what you thought you knew about the ocean’s most misunderstood masters–to the test on these thrilling and educational shark encounters. Motor far into the open ocean, where the mysteries beneath the waves wait to reveal themselves. Armed with little more than a snorkel, slip into the water, suspended in hundreds of feet of clear blue. If you get the feeling you’re being watched, you’re right. It won’t be long before beady eyes emerge from the depths, followed by familiarly pointy fins. Soon, you’ll find yourself encircled by swarms of graceful Galapagos and Sandbar sharks. Protected by a floating cage, you’ll come nose-to-nose through impenetrable Poly glass partitions as your curiosity–and eyes–meet theirs 600 feet above the seafloor.

Reviews

We just returned from a fantastic trip to Oahu. This activity is one we thoroughly enjoyed! You get to see a few different types of sharks that swim right by the cage! It is easy to get in and out of the cage as well. When they tell you to take something for seasickness do as it gets pretty choppy out there. The fellow on the boat was very knowledgable about the sharks! You can tell he is passionate about them. I would recommend this to all ages it's extremely interesting and educational.
