Haleakala Downhill Bike Tour

Have a Seat

Haleakala may be sleeping but this 25-mile ride down its scenic slopes is anything but sleepy. Zig-zag the switchbacks of Haleakala Ranch, a thrilling 3000-foot descent in under ten miles. Zip through clouds fragranced by eucalyptus, as miles of gorgeous Maui countryside and coastline display themselves at every turn. You might be flying downhill at times, but there’s no rush! Stop for photos and lunch (the only fuel you’ll need for the rest of this trip), and soak up local character in the charming towns of Makawao and Paia. Savor the leisurely pace of this flexible, intimate tour–your small group makes for a personalized, laid-back adventure. And luckily, your oversized cushy seat makes for optimum comfort.

Reviews

My wife and I took this tour and really enjoyed it. We were the only ones on the tour with the Billys and they were great guides and very knowledgable about the island. One of the guys guides on a bike in front of you and the other drives the van behind the group so no other cars can approach the bikes. You can go as fast as you feel comfortable.
