Old Hawaii With a Sunset Chaser
Set against the sparkling Pacific Ocean at sunset, this luau gives you a straight shot of Hawaiian history, culture, and cuisine in one sitting. Traditional hula dancers tell the story of Tahitian sailors who discovered Hawaii. Myths and legends of Hawaiian Gods and Goddesses spring to life in these dancing mediums, and culminate in a dramatic Polynesian fire dance. Come early to check out pre-show activities perfect for the family, like lawn bowling and Hawaiian ‘tattoos.’ Stay for the buffet dinner, featuring traditional roasted Kalua pig and an open bar. Stroll the beach and the lush resort grounds, and take in the magical views at twilight.

We paid extra for the premium seating which gets you nearer the stage, but be aware - this meant we were furthest away from the bar! The food was excellent (we tried things we had not eaten before) a choice of desserts, tea and coffee also provided round the meal off nicely. The show was well narrated and entertaining and setting perfect.
