Safety Info:All tours are provided with pre-ride safety instructions, safety course orientation, one guide leading the tour and one chasing, support vehicle equipped with first aide, toolbox, water, and fire extinguishers, cell phones and walkie talkies, First Aid and CPR certified guides; People who are pregnant, have major neck or back problems, have extreme allergies to dust or pollen or have had recent surgeries in the last three months will not be allowed to participate
Other Rules:Must be 5+ to ride; Must be 16+ to drive, and pass safety course orientation; Picture ID with age verification will be required if driving

About Mahaulepu ATV Tours
Get dirty on an off-road adventure on Kauai’s South Shore. Climb aboard a custom-built ATV vehicle and explore the rolling hills and backcountry in a whole new way. Start your journey near an old sugar mill and grind through a cane haul tunnel. Splash through streams, take in the panoramic ocean and mountain views, and jump in secluded swimming holes. Pass by famous movie sites and drive along dirt roads from Hawaii’s plantation era. For an extended adventure combine your drive with a horseback ride to the coast. The company offers custom-built off-road vehicles for single drivers, couples, and families, including 20 “mud bugs” powered by bio-diesel.
Review
We did the ATV tour and all took individual ATVs. You don't get as muddy on the ATVs as you do in the mud bugs. We took the 4 hour tour so we stopped halfway at the waterfall and went swimming and ate lunch. Our guide Hilary was hilarious! Loved her! The guides take pictures of the tour and are available for purchase at the end (very glad we bought it, the pictures turned out awesome). Thank you Hilary and Kauai ATV for an awesome experience. :)
