Wished it
A physical, cultural, and culinary journey awaits you at Luau Kalamaku. The luau itself is a theatrical spectacular; it’s more modern than your traditional tourist-centric luau, but don’t worry—there’s still a fire knife dance and wonderful Polynesian performances. Before the show you can tour the historic Kilohana sugar plantation by train or foot. You’ll then be treated to a lavish buffet, open bar, and dance performance. If you’d rather skip the buffet, you can dine like a big kahuna at the Plantation Owners Evening, a specialized VIP dinner at Kilohana’s Gaylord’s restaurant. Following a champagne greeting, you’ll be escorted to this exclusive restaurant to partake of an extravagant chef-curated meal before the show.
Reviews
I've lived on Kauai my entire life, and have attended my share of the requisite Luaus when guests come to town. This Luau was a breath of fresh air. You get all the basic Luau stuff at the beginning, but in addition to that there is an amazing show. What a pleasure to see it actually had a plot. The performers were beautiful and the dancing was amazing (some other ones border on tacky). The fire dancing was my favorite part.
