The Heat is On
View the world’s most active volcano on a 45-minute tour above the remote Kilauea volcanic system where lava flows, cinder cones, and molten earth glowing from within collapsed lava tubes make for spellbinding evidence of one of the most geologically-active landscapes on earth. If this hot terrain leaves you longing for greener pastures, the tour continues to the verdant territory near the upper Wailuku river. Here, rainforests and spectacular waterfalls whisk you toward the dramatic Hilo coastline, where black rock surrenders to turquoise water. You’ll land with indelible imagery and one thrilling memory.
Reviews
My husband & I went to Hawaii for the first time in August 2012. On Tuesday we were in Hilo and took the Volcano tour. The Safari van arrived on time at the Hilo Harbor and took us to the airport (less then a 10 minute drive). The staff and the pilot were very friendly and knowledgeable—five stars!
