My first Safari at sunset - I travel for work and had a free day so I thought I would see some animals while in South Africa, in Johannesburg . The tour was amazing with Erin, from Mongena game lodge. I saw so many animals up close and got to see twice zebras giraffes! Erin was a helpful and insightful tour guide. We had the sunset safari and the view was spectacular! I included some photos to share the amazing scenario that I saw. The reservation includes pick up from your hotel and Ben was an amazing driver. I would recommend this trip to anyone!

Our first safari was amazing - We absolutely loved everything about the Safari tour guide Ben was amazing. He was patient and worked with us. I will recommend this to everyone. We were able to see the big 5 and more we loved the snacks and drinks he provided and his strong passion for the animals.

Excellent safari close to the city - Since our trip was quite short, the half-day safari was perfect for getting a small taste of nature near Johannesburg. The team at South Africa Adventures was quick to respond to any questions and booking was easy and straightforward. Tebogo, our driver to and from Dinokeng Reserve, was a really friendly guy who was very punctual and was considerate when planning logistics to make sure that we got to the tour on time, and also very informative when it came to my various questions about South Africa. Our safari guide, Jacques, was great - he was always encouraging questions from all the visitors and his passion for his work and care for the environment were very clear.

Awesome Mini Safari - This was a great safari. It was my first time, and the whole process was smooth and safe. I was picked up promptly at the appointed time and arrived at the gaming lodge early. The driver, Bongi, was extremely pleasant and informative. I had planned to sleep on the way there, but we spoke the entire one-hour drive. At the reserve, I checked in and wandered the property until we departed. Our guide was informative and attentive to the interests of the guests. The whole experience lasted two and a half hours, with a break built in, where we were provided snacks and drinks. Managed to see lots of things: birds, Mikey’s, impalas, zebras, wildebeest, elephants, etc. No lion made himself visible at this hour in the morning. Overall, a great experience, and I highly recommend it!

Wonderful Safari so close to Johannesburg - Wonderful experience, safe pick up and drop off at my Hotel. In the Dinekong Game Reservewe saw a lot of different animals, Amazing!

Best thing ever - Amazing!! Got picked up at the hotel, everything felt safe and we got to see so many beautiful animals! I’ll never forget this. Highly recommend. And our guide where so knowledgeable about animals and vegetation.

Great safari experience on short notice - The company we booked with previously cancelled on us last minute and luckily we found South Africa Adventures who were very accommodating especially considering the 1 hour notice. My boyfriend and I had a great safari with them and everything ran smoothly! Our guide Musa was incredible and shared his knowledge of the animals and Johannesburg with us. Would highly recommend

Wonderful - Dean and Rafnika were very considerate and knowledgeable guides. We had a difficult person accompanying our group, but they handled the challenges of this personality with professionalism and grace. Plus the animals we saw were fantastic! Missed the lion pride and hippos- it was too hot in the day.

Half day safari - It was excellent. We were able to see a lot of animals (rhinos, elephants, lions, etc). Because of poaching, it has meant that a few things have been altered, but all has been done for the good of the animals. Thabo was an excellent guide. Really knowledgeable and friendly. Made the tour even better. I only had one afternoon free in Johannesburg, so being able to fit this in was great. Would definitely recommend, especially given the price.
