Change of plans for the best results! - We had completed a week long tour with our wonderful driver and guide Aruna and we’re due to go to Yala for a Safari on our last afternoon. However, the rains came down so Aruna wisely changed our trip to the following morning and instead we visited a fascinating Hindu temple and experienced a Puja. The next morning we were picked up in the jeep at 5 am and as the park opened the rain stopped and we had a fabulous morning watching elephants and viewing wonderful creatures large and small with a wonderful spotter and our trusty guide Aruna. A fabulous last morning to our 8 day trip. Thank you so much Aruna and Blue Lanka!

Superb Sri Lankan Experience - Sri Lanka has been a wonderful surprise! Beautiful scenery, fantastic food and incredibly hospitable people have made our ten days here most enjoyable. Our personal guide Shan from Blue Lanka Tours has made our holiday smooth and trouble free. Nothing we asked for has been any trouble. We have visited temples, waterfalls, climbed mountains, seen elephants and whales, and made delicious curries in a cooking school. The world is a large place to explore but our visit here has us wanting to come back!

Every employee that we came in contact with took pride in what they do and it showed. Communication was timely and honest. All questions were answered and information was provided before our trip to help us prepare for our travels. I was impressed with Blue Lanka’s organization, down to the smallest details. Back-up plans were always in place just in case (our train ride was canceled due to a derailment but Blue Lanka didn’t skip a beat arranging a tea factory tour for us instead). We were asked about any adjustments or changes we might want as the tour went along. We traveled in comfort and without worries. Dinesh answered all our questions as we wanted to learn more about Sri Lanka and its culture. We experienced many stories, laughs, and smiles along our journey. Blue Lanka Tours gave back to the community on our tour and I valued the role they see their company playing in their country. For example, we stopped along a roadside stand to try a snack. Dinesh paid the owner much more than what we bought. He said that our stop would help that family for several weeks. It’s these special touches that added to an already amazing trip.

9-days Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Sigirya, Kandy, Mineriya and Yala national parks, Horton's plains, Scenic train ride, Galle. - Our experience with Blue Lanka was perfect from start to finish. The communication was smooth, timely and professional. The itinerary was custom-made and later revised several times per our requests and good advises from the side of the company. Our tour guide Riyanci was knowledgeable full of energy and always smiling. Even when having to travel 150 km in both directions to take my camera, that I absentmindedly forgot in a restaurant :) ! Due to external factors, one person from our group could not travel and despite the cancellation made just several days before arrival the company reimbursed significant part of the money, though they were not obliged. All that happening during the times of political and social turmoil which never affected us as tourists. I highly recommend Blue Lanka tours.
