The native inhabitants and day workers struggled to construct roads with limited resources. Built halfway between Puerto Nare and Medellín, the roads led to Guatapé, a small village. This was a point of arrival and departure for mule drivers, instrumental in enabling trade throughout the whole Antioquia region.

Guatape - We will take the road to Guatapé and pause to enjoy a delicious pandequeso and reach the replica of the old Peñol where you will learn about the crafts that are in place.iniciaremor the boat tour of the dam that lasts 1 hour and then head to the imposing stone of the Peñol and climb its 720 steps, here you can enjoy a spectacular view of the dam and then enjoy a generous tray paisa and recover energy lost in acenzo.
