During the tour of approximately 3 hrs. We will discover together the magic, history and local traditions. We will interpret symbols, signs and buildings that tell us about the most important and outstanding events that the city has suffered, such as floods. We will walk through the underground streets and alleys full of history and legends and at the end we will taste a traditional regional drink.
In this tour, travelers will be able to live an experience like a local, such as tasting a delicious handmade snow, they will know the most famous meeting points such as Plaza San Fernando and Plaza San Roque, a favorite place for artists and bohemians. They will visit Baroque-style temples such as El Templo de Belén y de la CompañÃa, which tell us about miscegenation and Catholic conversion. Finally, we will finish right in front of the majestic Teatro Juárez in the main garden with a beautiful reflection about this beautiful city.

Great tour - Mariana, very fun, knowledgeable guide.
Made Guanajuato ‘s history come to life.

Great tour with Marianna - Marianna, our guide did an excellent job! Her English was good and
she was quite familiar with the history and culture. She is very friendly and welcoming.
We appreated her recommendations of other sites, restaurants, and bars that we are still exploring.
Definatrly book this toir to open your eyes of what the city offers. J&C

Entertaining & Informative Tour of Guanajuato - We got lucky that we ended up being the only ones on our tour so it was a fun private tour with Mariana. We learned so much about the history of Guanajuato and why the city is laid out the way it is. Mariana was energetic, funny and knowledgeable. We were there during the extremely busy Santa Semana and it was very crowded so Mariana did an excellent job of bypassing the crowds, yet getting us to where we needed to go. We also got great recommendations of bars & restaurants and tried one of her recommendations after the tour and it was amazing. Not touristy, amazing food and great service. We tend to do walking tours of cities often when we travel and this one was definitely one of the best we've done.

Guanajuato It’s Origins, Development and Future - Our guide tailored our tour to our request for an historical understanding of Guanajuato and delivered wonderfully! We learned about the origins of the city and it’s connection through silver to the rest of Mexico. We also learned about the complex political structure of early Mexico and how that relates to modern times.
Our guide Maria has passion and love of the history of her country and we truly received the benefit.
This tour is a must to understand Guanajuato.

Fantastic walking tour with fun-loving guide - What a great experience! In 3 hours, we learned how to navigate the city, taking us through its meandering streets and pedestrian pathways. Mariana patiently answered all our questions and gave us helpful tips about where to eat for an authentic Mexican experience (and which places to avoid). It was a terrific way to explore the city without constantly using GPS on our cell phones. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, as you visit the most significant sites. Mariana is an energetic guide with a wealth of information about the history of the city. Highly recommended!

A beautiful way to see a city - Mariana made our tour the highlight of our trip. She walked us through the history of Guanajuato in a fun and digestible way.
