Taking this tour will make your trip much more enjoyable! - We had a wonderful time on our food tour with Diego. The information we received was incredibly helpful for the rest of our time in Guadalajara. Diego answered all of our questions, helped us get tickets to a show at the Teatro Degollado, and gave us a lot of useful tips. I highly recommend you book this tour for one of the first few days on your trip. The information you gain will make the rest of the days much more enjoyable.

Fun and educative - Diego met up with us at the city center, and we walked together to the market. On our way, he explained to us about the city, Mexican history, and interesting architecture. Once we got to the market, Diego explained to us all the different food and items on display, answered any questions we might have, and took us to his favorite spots in the market. As someone who hadn't been to Mexico or speak Spanish, I am so glad that Diego could help us discover Guadalajara beyond my limits. Make sure to bring plenty cash so that you could taste or buy things that catch your eyes at the market!

A highlight of my trip! - Diego might be the only game in town, but his tour would also be excellent in a more competitive tourism market like NYC or Paris. As it was, I felt like I had a local friend with encyclopedic knowledge of the Mercado Libertad show me around the most delicious eateries of his hometown. I speak okay Spanish but get SO NERVOUS at the market stalls with no menus where everybody talks super fast--but Diego made me feel at home. A true highlight of my trip--will be back next time!
