A Memorable Experience - Chan, our tour guide, was most helpful and communicative. The van was very comfortable for the 50km ride to the DMZ. The observatory and the museum were very interesting and informative, especially with the added commentary from Chan. We truly hope to see the Korean people peacefully reunited in our lifetime.

Best ever tour guide - Our tour guide, Chan, put a lot of effort into organizing our tour to the DMZ. He and his driver were there waiting for us at the cruise terminal. He and the driver took our small group in a very comfortable minibus up the highway, first for an authentic Korean lunch, then to the DMZ observation post and finally to the Korean war museum. Chan was really knowledgeable in answering our questions about Korea, he provided a money exchange service for those of us who needed a few kwon to spend, he provided bottled water, he took photos which were messaged to us later, and generally took care of us. I think we were very fortunate to have a guide as attentive and caring as Chan.

A great way to see a little of Sotchko & DMZ. - Our guide, Chan, was wonderful. He was enthusiastic & knowledgable, always helpful & considerate. He organised a delicious Korean lunch for our small group en route to the DMZ which was unexpected, and enjoyed by all. Our driver was skilled and the opportunity to enjoy scenery was much appreciated. We were in S.Korea for only one day but our experience makes us want to return for longer.

Sokcho cruise tour to DMZ (recommended) - Chan was very proactive - he contacted the group well in advance & offered options to make the most of our time in Sokcho. The vehicle was spacious, the driver competent and the DMZ tour as described. Chan painted a poignant picture of the terrible rift experienced by the Korean people as a result of the war and the border. Chan, thank you for your hospitality.
